1. Position Objective

The Senior Executive will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the financial ledger, ensuring timely tax compliance, and providing management with critical financial insights through MIS reporting. The candidate should demonstrate good technical accounting proficiency and a commitment to strict month-end deadlines.

2. Core Responsibilities


A. Financial Accounting & Operations


 Accounts Payable (AP): Full-cycle management of vendor invoices, statutory deductions (TDS/GST), and timely disbursements.
 Bookkeeping: Maintenance of the General Ledger and sub-ledgers with high accuracy.
 Treasury Management: Daily monitoring of bank positions and preparation of Cash Burn Reports to track liquidity and operational runway.

B. Month-End & Reporting


 Month-End Closure: Execution of month-end tasks including accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
 MIS Preparation: Preparing Management Information Systems (MIS) report.
 Schedules: Preparation of detailed balance sheet schedules for audit readiness.

C. Statutory Compliance


 GST: Preparation and reconciliation of data for GST Return filings; ensuring reconciliation of GSTR-2B with the Purchase Register.
 TDS: Ensuring appropriate tax deduction at source and assisting in quarterly return filings.

3. Qualification and Skillset:


 B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Semi qualified CA-CS-CMA.
 Proficient in MS Excel.
 Prior experience in Software like SAP will be preferred.
 Knowledge or work experience of AI tools would be preferred.
 Fluent in English and good communication skills both verbal and written.
