The Manager, Cross Border Sales exists to drive the adoption and revenue growth of Razorpay’s international and cross-border payment solutions among growing businesses and enterprises. This role solves the critical business problem of expanding Razorpay’s global footprint by helping Indian merchants accept international payments and scale their business globally. Positioned as a People Manager within the Cross Border business organization, you will lead a team of sales professionals, own the cross-border revenue pipeline, and act as a strategic advisor aligning international payment complexities (such as FX routing and compliance) with the merchants' global expansion goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing sales team to consistently meet and exceed international revenue targets and cross-border product adoption metrics.
- Execute the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Razorpay’s cross-border payment solutions, driving deep market penetration among high-potential export and international-facing merchants.
- Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Compliance, Legal, and Solutions Engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of cross-border integrations that meet complex regulatory requirements (e.g., FEMA guidelines).
- Conduct executive-level engagements and negotiate complex commercial agreements with CXOs of global enterprises to close high-value deals.
- Analyze cross-border transaction data, international market trends, and competitor positioning to identify new revenue streams and continuously refine the team's consultative sales approach.
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene, ensure accurate global pipeline forecasting, and drive overarching sales optimization within the team.
- Strong B2B sales leadership, team management, and complex commercial negotiation capabilities.
- Deep understanding of the cross-border digital payments ecosystem, international routing, multi-currency processing, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., FEMA, RBI export guidelines).
- Exceptional executive-level communication and stakeholder influence skills.
- 5–8 years of proven experience in B2B SaaS, Fintech, or Payments sales, with a strong focus on international or cross-border portfolios.
- 1–3 years of experience in a people management role, successfully leading and coaching a quota-carrying sales team.
