Account Manager, Banking Alliances
About the role:
Strategic partnerships professional responsible for driving end-to-end bank alliances, scaling revenue through channel enablement, and positioning Razorpay POS as a preferred merchant acquiring partner.
Owns program execution, stakeholder management, and cross-functional alignment to deliver seamless rollouts, strengthen partner relationships, and drive business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own and manage end-to-end strategic bank partnerships, driving long-term value and alignment.
- Drive revenue growth by enabling and scaling sales through bank channels.
- Lead the end-to-end rollout of banking programs, ensuring seamless execution and adoption.
- Position Razorpay POS as the preferred partner for banks’ merchant acquiring business.
- Build and nurture strong, multi-level stakeholder relationships, particularly with product, business, and decision-making teams within partner banks.
- Lead RFP preparation, submission, and end-to-end coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across internal teams to deliver on partner objectives.
- Travel regularly to engage with bank and NBFC partners and strengthen on-ground relationships.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience, preferably in a bank’s merchant acquiring or payments business.
- Proven experience in banking partnerships, alliances, or channel sales is an added advantage.
- Experience in RFP preparation is an added advantage.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to leverage them to improve partner engagement, enhance outcomes, and drive overall quality and efficiency.
- AI & Digital Competency : Practical experience using LLMs like ChatGPT or Claude to summarize policies, draft regulatory communications, and analyze government RFPs and legislative updates.
- Process Automation : Ability to identify manual bottlenecks and apply AI or automation tools to improve efficiency, scale operations, and speed up go-to-market
