About the Role:

We are hiring a CRM Specialist to own end-to-end lifecycle communication for SME & Established Business merchants. The role focuses on CRM strategy, MoEngage journey building, customer lifecycle optimization, and AI-led automation to improve activation, retention, and engagement

If you have built complex MoEngage flows, obsess over cohort-level conversion data, and have shipped at least one AI agent or LLM-backed workflow, this role will feel like it was written for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end CRM lifecycle journeys across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push notifications
  • Build and optimize behavior-based, event-triggered journeys on MoEngage
  • Manage merchant lifecycle stages: onboarding, activation, dormant, churn, revival, and cross-sell
  • Design trigger-based communication journeys based on user actions and engagement signals
  • Improve key metrics such as Activation Rate, MTU Conversion, Retention, Revival Rate, and GMV Churn
  • Conduct A/B testing, holdout analysis, and campaign performance measurement
  • Analyze customer behavior, cohort drop-offs, and funnel leakages to identify CRM opportunities
  • Work with Product, Analytics, Brand, and Growth teams to improve customer lifecycle outcomes
  • Translate customer insights, churn feedback, and support trends into CRM interventions
  • Leverage AI/LLM tools for personalization, automation, churn prediction, and journey optimization

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Retention Marketing
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience owning CRM journeys end-to-end
  • Strong expertise in MoEngage (Mandatory)
  • Experience building multi-step, event-triggered CRM journeys
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, cohort analysis, A/B testing, and funnel analysis
  • Hands-on exposure to AI/LLM tools or AI-powered workflows in production
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Fintech / Payments / SaaS / PLG businesses
  • Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Superset)
  • Experience with API/webhook-triggered campaigns
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment
