The Opportunity
As an HVAC Install Helper at R. Brooks Mechanical, you'll work alongside experienced installers to install and replace heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in both residential and commercial settings. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on HVAC installation experience who is looking to expand their skills, gain valuable field experience, and build a long-term career in the trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, air handlers, rooftop units (RTUs), and related accessories.
• Assist with running refrigerant lines, condensate drains, gas piping, venting, and electrical connections in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Work closely with lead installers, project managers, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC helper experience
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems, components, ductwork, and installation practices.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and common HVAC installation equipment.
• Valid driver's license
