B2B Outside Sales

RCI Doors is looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to grow our customer base and strengthen relationships with existing accounts. You'll be in the field building connections with facility managers, contractors, and property owners - selling a full range of commercial door and dock equipment solutions including overhead sectional and rolling steel doors, loading docks, hollow metal doors, glass storefronts, gates, and access control systems. 

This is a role for someone who's equally comfortable hunting for new business as they are nurturing long-term accounts. 

What You'll Do 

  • Prospect and develop new business across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets 
  • Manage and grow an existing book of accounts through regular site visits and relationship-building 
  • Conduct site assessments to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions 
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service agreements 
  • Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and customer satisfaction 
  • Use CRM software to track activity, manage your pipeline, and report on results 
  • Attend industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities to build market presence 
  • Represent RCI Doors professionally in all customer and contractor interactions 

What We're Looking For 

  • 2-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in commercial doors, construction, or a related trade 
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets 
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or construction documents is a plus 
  • Strong communicator - comfortable with everyone from a facilities manager to a general contractor 
  • Self-motivated and organized; you manage your own schedule and own your results 
  • Proficient with CRM tools and standard business software 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
