Senior Director, Product

RCX Sports is experiencing an explosive phase of growth, expanding its impact on youth sports across the country and into new international markets. Through a platform-driven approach, we empower a growing network of League Operators to deliver safe, organized, and—most importantly—fun recreational league experiences across NFL FLAG, MLS GO, Jr. NBA Leagues, NHL Street, and emerging pilot programs. Our evolving platform model is designed to provide League Operators with the resources, training, technology, and support they need to enhance and expand the youth sports experience at scale.

In this role you will ensure that the company builds the right products to drive business growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain market leadership. By bridging business goals with technology execution, you will ensure that every product decision contributes to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage, ultimately supporting long-term company success.

The Senior Director, Product is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, working closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders. This role involves managing the product lifecycle, prioritizing features, and ensuring that product decisions align with customer needs and business objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Defining Product Vision & Strategy: Aligns product development with company objectives through strategic feature prioritization to maximize business impact.
  • Enhancing Customer Experience: Creates user-focused products by gathering market insights and customer feedback, driving retention and engagement.
  • Optimizing Product Development: Collaborates with engineering, design, and business teams to execute product roadmaps effectively.
  • Driving Revenue & Market Growth: Identifies opportunities for new products and features to expand market share and create revenue streams.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Uses analytics and KPIs to measure success and guide rapid product iteration for optimal ROI.
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead product strategy development to boost business growth and user satisfaction.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver product features.
  • Roadmap Management: Balance short-term improvements with long-term vision in product backlog prioritization.
  • Market Intelligence: Research market trends, collect customer feedback, and analyze competition.
  • Analytics & Metrics: Establish performance metrics and leverage data insights for decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Product Lifecycle: Guide product development from ideation through launch.
  • Team Performance: Monitor team performance metrics and implement improvement strategies as needed to drive organizational success. Mentor and provide guidance to direct reports, cultivating strong leadership skills and promoting succession planning within the team.
  • Team Culture: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional development, teamwork, and innovation among staff members

 Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Product Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong background in technology and product strategy (Preferred)
  • At least 9 years of experience in product management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Experience working with engineering teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in SaaS, enterprise software, or platform-based products is a plus.

 Additional Position Details:

  • Travel: Less than 10% of the time
  • Work Schedule: Monday Friday (occasional nights and weekends)
  • Work Location: Remote
  • Reports to: Vice President of Program Strategy and Experience
