About the role

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive the product vision, strategy, and execution for Enterprise AI at Realtor.com. Enterprise AI is one of the highest-leverage investments in the company's technology portfolio, and the AmpAI team is responsible for how 800+ engineers and thousands of business users adopt, govern, and get value from AI across the business.

This role treats Enterprise AI as a product: a portfolio of platforms, developer tools, agentic solutions, and enablement programs that must work together to deliver compounding value. You will own the product vision and roadmap across four product lines: (1) the LLM platform and governance layer (model access, LLM gateway, IP protection, acceptable use), (2) AI-assisted software development tooling (Claude Code, Windsurf, RDC OS), (3) agentic AI solutions for the business (across Client Revenue, Consumer Marketing, HR, Communications, and other non-tech functions), and (4) the Enterprise AI enablement surface (AI Hub, Office Hours, AI Champions network, workshops, certifications).

You will partner closely with the Head of Developer Productivity & AI, the CTO, and senior leaders across product, engineering, data, legal, cybersecurity, finance, and go-to-market to shape the portfolio, drive prioritization, and ensure Enterprise AI delivers measurable business impact. As a senior individual contributor, you will also serve as a strategy driver for [Realtor.com|http://Realtor.com]'s broader AI community and a primary point of contact between RDC and News Corp Global Tech on AI strategy.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates at the portfolio level, and combines strategic product thinking with the technical fluency to engage credibly with engineers, architects, and AI practitioners.

Top Reasons to Apply:

  • End-to-End Portfolio Ownership: This role provides comprehensive strategic ownership over four distinct AI product lines, ranging from core LLM infrastructure and developer tools to cross-functional business automation. You will direct a high-leverage portfolio that impacts every layer of the technology and business ecosystem.
  • High-Visibility Technical Leadership: You will partner closely with Realtor.com's technology executives and News Corp Global Tech to align engineering execution with overarching corporate AI initiatives. Operating as a high-influence principal contributor, you will translate high-level business goals into scalable technical reality.
  • Massive Scale with a Dedicated 15-Engineer Team: Unlike R&D sandboxes or proof-of-concept teams, you will be with a dedicated team of approximately 15 engineers to optimize workflows for developers and thousands of business users. Any platform enhancement or agentic solution your team builds instantly scales across the enterprise to drive measurable value.
  • Advanced Tech, Governance, and AI Evaluation: You will lead the deployment of next-gen developer tools and define the modern enterprise blueprint for LLM gateways, data compliance, and robust evaluation frameworks. You will own the critical methodologies used to benchmark models, ensuring the organization always deploys the most optimal LLMs for the job.
  • Strategic Influence with Zero Administrative Overhead: This is the ideal destination for a heavyweight strategist who wants to steer a company's highest-priority technology investments. You get to focus entirely on high-level product craft, matrixed leadership, and driving engineering execution.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve the Enterprise AI product strategy across platform, developer tooling, agentic solutions, and enablement, ensuring alignment with company OKRs and the broader technology roadmap.
  • Drive portfolio prioritization, operating the Enterprise AI prioritization rubric and ensuring the team invests in the highest-value work based on VOC, telemetry, and business impact. Lead quarterly and annual planning for the AmpAI portfolio.
  • Lead VOC and discovery efforts across engineering, product, business, and cross-BU stakeholders to identify the highest-leverage AI opportunities and pain points. Translate insights into investment cases, roadmaps, and clearly scoped initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture on the end-to-end AI platform (LLM gateway, model access, governance tooling, observability) to ensure it is scalable, cost-effective, and usable by both engineers and business users.
  • Define and track the metrics that matter for Enterprise AI: adoption and active usage across tools, business value delivered (time displaced, cost avoided, revenue enabled), program health, enablement throughput, and OKR progress. Own the Monthly Tech Review | AI narrative and executive storytelling around AI impact.
  • Own strategic AI vendor relationships as business owner for key vendors (Anthropic, Google Cloud, Portkey, and others), partnering with Cyber, Legal, and AI Governance to de-risk the stack and unlock high-value use cases.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and delivery across AmpAI sub-teams (AI Solutions Engineering, AI Platform & Infrastructure, AI Enablement & Programs) and partner teams in product, engineering, design, data science, legal, security, and go-to-market.
  • Evangelize Enterprise AI through demos, release notes, internal communications, and executive forums. Represent RDC credibly in AI conversations with News Corp Global Tech and sister BU leaders.
  • Grow the Enterprise AI community by running the AI Champions network, workshop series, Enterprise AI Office Hours, and cross-BU community of practice.
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level PMs and AI Solutions Engineers, and serve as a culture carrier for exceptional documentation, communication, and collaboration practices across the Developer Productivity organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of product management experience, with a recent focus on platform products, internal tooling, developer productivity, or AI/ML product areas at enterprise scale.
  • Proven track record as a strategy driver operating at the portfolio level, not just a single product, with the ability to define vision, align stakeholders, and translate ambiguity into clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Strong technical foundation with deep working knowledge of the Enterprise AI stack: LLM APIs and gateways (Portkey or similar), AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot), RAG and agent patterns, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI governance and risk considerations. Comfortable engaging with engineers, architects, and AI practitioners at a technical level.
  • Demonstrated success treating internal platforms or enablement programs as products, including VOC-driven prioritization, OKR-based measurement, and product health metrics that evolve over time.
  • Experience building and operating cross-functional product infrastructure: operating models, intake processes, governance frameworks, and reporting systems, ideally in a newly formed or rapidly scaling function.
  • Strong data fluency: comfortable defining metrics, building dashboards, identifying trends, and using quantitative signals to drive decisions and tell stories, especially for nascent AI KPIs where definitions are still evolving.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional alignment, with proven success translating complex technical and business requirements into clear priorities and executive-ready narratives.
  • Experience navigating organizational complexity and landing decisions across distributed, matrixed, or multi-office teams, including partnerships with a corporate parent or sister business units.
  • Experience as business owner of strategic vendor relationships, including security and legal assessments, contract negotiation support, and ongoing vendor management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
