This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced DevOps engineer to help lead the design, implementation, and adoption of the technical building blocks that power our next generation of CI/CD capabilities. You will play a key role in building and supporting the automated solutions engineers rely on for their delivery workflows while improving reliability, security, and speed across the platform.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help architect and manage modern CI/CD platforms, GitOps workflows, and production-grade Kubernetes infrastructure across AWS environments. You will partner closely with engineering teams to provide the tooling, guardrails, and platform expertise they need to succeed, while bringing a strong automation mindset and a RealOwnership approach to everything you build.

What you’ll do:

CI/CD Platform & Delivery Excellence
  • Architect and manage robust CircleCI pipelines, runner clusters, and self-service automation tools to streamline secure application delivery in cloud environments.
  • Deploy and evolve GitOps workflows across multiple clusters using ArgoCD to automate application lifecycle management across environments.
  • Partner with engineering squads to provide the tooling, automated pipelines, and technical expertise needed for successful delivery.
Cloud Infrastructure & Kubernetes
  • Design and manage production-ready AWS EKS infrastructure across resilient multi-region and multi-cluster architectures.
  • Manage container scheduling and cluster scaling using Karpenter, ensuring secure, healthy, and highly available EKS environments.
  • Enforce strong Kubernetes security practices through Network Policies and IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA).
Service Mesh, Reliability & Engineering Standards
  • Architect and support Istio Service Mesh implementations to regulate traffic, enforce mTLS, and protect service-to-service communication.
  • Develop advanced routing, ingress and egress gateway patterns, and traffic strategies such as circuit breaking and canary releases.
  • Diagnose and resolve sophisticated issues across service mesh data planes, multi-cluster deployments, and distributed systems operations.
  • Mentor engineering teams on DevOps best practices and help raise the maturity of our platform and delivery architecture.
  • Embed security, resilience, performance, and cost-efficiency as core considerations in every initiative.
What you’ll bring:

Experience & Expertise
  • 6+ years of cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, or DevOps platform experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, VPC, Route53, S3, and IAM.
  • 2+ years of expert-level experience administering production-grade Amazon EKS and containerized workloads.
  • 1+ years of production experience designing and managing Istio Service Mesh in distributed or multi-cluster environments.
Technical Skills
  • CI/CD & GitOps: CircleCI, ArgoCD, and self-service platform automation.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, multi-cluster environments, and cluster scaling.
  • Security & Reliability: Kubernetes Network Policies, IRSA, mTLS, traffic management, and distributed systems troubleshooting.
  • Platform Engineering: Experience building tooling and paved-path solutions that enable engineering teams to move faster and more safely.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with CircleCI.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKS, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
  • Hands-on experience or familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.
  • Manage container scheduling and cluster scaling, to ensure secure, healthy, and highly available EKS environments.
  • Mentor engineering teams on DevOps best practices and help raise the maturity of our platform and delivery architecture.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
