At Realtor, our technology team participates in the research and development of scalable applications, identifying new technologies and trends to enhance our products and business. We build innovative solutions to help customers in their buying, renting, and selling journeys by connecting them with real estate agents and partners. We provide real estate agents and teams with best-in-class tools to manage their listings and grow their businesses. Join us to push the boundaries of what’s possible and learn from world-class talent that promotes a culture of experimentation and learning.

We believe in leveraging the best tools to solve problems faster. You will be expected to utilize AI coding assistants and LLMs proficiently to accelerate development velocity, generate boilerplate, and troubleshoot complex debugging scenarios. Beyond simple usage, this role requires critical judgment to verify AI-generated outputs for security, performance, and accuracy. You should be comfortable integrating AI tooling into your daily workflow to eliminate repetitive tasks, allowing you to focus on high-impact architectural and strategic engineering challenges.

Three reasons to apply:

  • Impact: Your code submissions and approach to work are exemplary. You provide system-wide view and design guidance to the squad members and also influence the design decisions made by other teams.
  • Leadership: You help guide the team in making the right trade-offs between short-term requirements and the long-term business/operational success of the squad. You also mentor by actively participating in the code review process, design discussions, and team planning.
  • Collaboration: You work on project ideas with Product Management and engage with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

Potential Teams you will get to work on:

  • Seller Services - Build the core systems that help real estate agents do their daily work. You’ll contribute to agent dashboards, lead delivery, and tools that help agents manage listings, clients, and grow their business - all with support from experienced engineers.
  • Branding & Promotions - Help build products that allow agents to promote their listings and reach more sellers. You’ll work on customer-facing features, backend services, and experiments around pricing and packaging that directly support revenue and customer success.
  • Lead Services creates technology that helps people connect with real estate professionals as they search for a home. As a junior engineer, you’ll work on features that improve how customers are matched with the right partners, helping drive business goals while learning and growing your technical skills.
  • Agent Branding - Build systems to help agents differentiate themselves from the crowd.  You'll contribute to portals that allow our clients to configure their brand, report on their branding performance, and provide insights on how to improve their branding presence.  Additionally, you will contribute to the systems that expose our clients' brand across realtor.com.
  • The Online Store - Digital storefront designed to provide customers with a seamless, high-performance shopping experience. This platform will enable agents and brokers to self-serve by reviewing product offerings and making purchases to promote their brands and listings. You will lead the development of this experience, architecting a scalable platform built to sustain rapid platform growth.
  • Performance and Insights - Build visual dashboards that expose performance metrics to our clients, helping them understand how their agents and products are performing.  Use data science and analytics to provide insights to agents about how to optimize their leads and improve their market performance.  Create conversational agents that help brokers understand how to take action on the data they see.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design and delivery for the ambiguous/complex problem space in the squad.
  • Provide guidance to team/s on system architecture and design.
  • Develop solutions that are of high quality, scalable, and reliable
  • Work collaboratively in squads composed of Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and Engineers.
  • Mentor and develop a team of engineers

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
