Job Overview
Title: Senior Director, Health & Wellness Influencer Marketing Strategy
Overview: As Senior Director, Health & Wellness Influencer Marketing Strategy, you will serve as a thought-leader and trusted advisor to starpower leadership and account leaders. You will spearhead the development of strategy, insights, innovative ideas, and creative solutions for clients in response to briefs, one-off requests, and RFPs centered around the following areas:
- Talent-focused ideation:Conceptualizing campaigns and initiatives that leverage talent and influencers to amplify brand messaging and engagement.
- Social content:Crafting compelling social media content strategies that drive conversation, build communities, and enhance brand awareness.
- Experiential:Designing immersive, real-world experiences that bring brands to life and foster meaningful connections with consumers.
- Integrated campaigns:Blending talent, social content, and experiential elements to create cohesive, impactful campaigns that resonate across multiple touchpoints.
Responsibilities
Influencer Strategy
- Work closely with business leaders at starpower to build our strategic output for brand partners
- Interpret client briefs and work closely with the creative and analytics teams to develop the influencer approach that drives business objectives
- Bring actionable and inspiring insights from all data sources to promote and enable data-driven recommendations
- Understand and communicate Influencer best practices for building relationships, campaigns, including pitching, payment, measurement, and FTC guidelines
- Think creatively beyond sponsored content, leveraging earned, owned, and shared media in addition to paid.
- Oversee execution of multi-pronged influencer campaigns, including Influencer identification, negotiation, contracting, legal and regulatory approvals/compliance, campaign execution and reporting/measurement
- Maintain consistent knowledge of client, generating original ideas to amplify their efforts through Influencer marketing
- Understand key competitors and their business strategies
- Understand and provide thought leadership on Influencer and cultural trends
- Identify and pitch new opportunities based on industry landscape to help drive organic client growth
- Provide senior level counsel to clients and manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring quantity of work and timely client deliverables
General/Client Service
- Serve as a Trend-spotter in the healthcare Influence marketing space and participate in industry thought leadership and organization wide POVs (both proactive and reactive)
- Identify Industry and client-issues and proactive serve up POVs to Clients in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams/agency partners
- Lead client communications and sell in ideas from meeting prep to follow up to Q&A and revisions
- Attend regularly scheduled and sporadic client conference calls
- Attend in-person meetings with clients and agency partners
- Participate in planning sessions from ideation to tissue session to final presentation
- Participate in business pitches, presentations to clients and prospective clients
- Assist in the overall growth of the agency, including new business & networking
Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in a role with experience driving Influencer marketing
- Deep understanding of the Health & Wellness pharmaceutical influencer landscape, specifically experience managing HCP and Patient campaigns.
- Track record across influencer strategy and tactical planning, ideally having worked within an integrated agency team across paid media, social, and PR
- You are proactive & hungry, bringing fresh ideas and improvement processes to the table without being asked
- Superior relationship building skills, proven ability to connect with clients and develop meaningful partnerships by inspiring confidence and trust
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally
- Strong and comfortable presenting to clients/public speaking
- Proven ability to develop meaningful Influencer relationships that results in authentic and persuasive storytelling
- The ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams a must
- Strong project management skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Experience with paid social media in support of influencer campaigns
- Experience with Influencer and Social Media tools including but not limited to Julius/HYPR, Traackr, CreatorIQ, Influencer Intelligence, Brandwatch, Tribe
Posting Salary
$135,000 - $165,000 USD

Working with Real HART: Since the pandemic, we have adapted to how our people told us they want to work. We have office locations in cities in the US, UK, and Europe with many employees and clients that serve as hubs where and when they need us. For employees who are within an hour of one of our offices, we expect attendance in the office two days per week, either at a Real Chemistry office or onsite with clients. We are also actively opening new office locations, so if one opens near you, our Real HART policy will apply. We are not looking for attendance for the sake of attendance but believe that the opportunity to coordinate in-office team meetings, 1:1 meetings with managers, taking advantage of on-site learning, and connecting with client partners is a critical to delivering on our purpose of making healthcare what it should be. Outside of these offices, we have regions, where people work remotely but come together quarterly for collaboration, culture and learning opportunities.
