Strategy & Operations Senior Associate – Pilot Programs
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate to help us design, test, and refine the next generation of our homeowner advisory experience. This is a unique role: part operator, part strategist, part builder. You’ll launch and manage pilot programs that test how we can scalably guide homeowners through their renovation journey with a mix of human support and technology.
You’ll own the operational setup, including creating SOPs, managing 1-2 team members (and potentially more over time), and working directly with homeowners when needed to accelerate learning. You’ll also analyze outcomes, run tight feedback loops, and partner with product and engineering to inform what we build next.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves 0→1 work, and can balance strategic thinking with roll-up-your-sleeves execution. You’ll play a central part in shaping how Realm delivers on its mission to help homeowners move from uncertainty to conviction.

Realm is on a mission to help homeowners complete their renovations and new builds with confidence, ease, and financial clarity. We guide them through every step of the pre-construction journey—from understanding timelines and permitting to refining scope and securing financing. We then match homeowners with high-quality contractors, help set expectations, and support them even after construction begins.
We’re an early-stage startup founded in 2019, building a category-defining platform for home renovation. Our small but mighty team is based primarily in Los Angeles (Culver City).
What You’ll Do:
- Launch and manage pilot programs that test scalable homeowner advisory models
- Build clear SOPs and processes to support consistent execution
- Manage and coach 1-2 associate-level hires, including QA, training, and escalation handling
- Work directly with homeowners as needed to stress-test the model and accelerate insights, leveraging customer empathy, comfort ambiguity, and operation excellence
- Liaise with homeowners and contractors to gather incremental learnings
- Analyze program performance, identifying signal vs. noise in outcomes
- Translate learnings into actionable recommendations for product and engineering
What You’ll Need:
- 3–6 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or a similar analytical/operational role
- Strong customer empathy and the ability to translate homeowner needs into actionable insights
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast iteration; thrives in a startup environment
- Ability to create structure (SOPs, processes, metrics) where none exists
- Willingness to flex between strategic problem-solving and day-to-day execution
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Comfort working with AI-powered tools and workflows, with new and innovative ideas regularly brought to the table
- Based in Los Angeles (hybrid role; 3 days in office)
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Experience in program design, running pilots in a startup context or customer success
- Familiarity with home renovation or adjacent industries
