Re:Build Battery Cell Manufacturing

Re:Build Battery Cell Manufacturing is building a next-generation, U.S.-based battery cell production platform focused on delivering high-performance, secure, and domestically sourced energy solutions for defense, aerospace, and energy storage applications.  Our approach integrates licensed and acquired battery technologies into proven lithium-ion manufacturing platforms, enabling rapid commercialization without reliance on foreign supply chains. With an initial 500 MWh production line and a clear pathway to multi-GWh scale, we are positioned to become a cornerstone of the U.S. battery ecosystem.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations within our battery cell production environment. This individual will be responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across a defined value stream—from raw material input through cell production and testing.

This role is instrumental in scaling a high-growth manufacturing operation, optimizing throughput, and embedding Lean principles across the organization.

What you get to do

  • Lead end-to-end value stream performance (SQDC)
  • Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee daily operations across battery cell production processes
  • Partner with engineering to improve yields and processes
  • Build and develop high-performing teams
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with quality, supply chain, and engineering
  • Develop production plans and support scale-up

What you bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 7–12+ years in advanced manufacturing environments
  • Experience leading a value stream or production area
  • Strong Lean / Six Sigma background
  • Experience with complex manufacturing processes
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in regulated environments (ISO, IATF)

Location Requirement

This role will be based at our Battery Cell Manufacturing facility (TBD)*.

* Location Note:

The final manufacturing site has not yet been determined. This role will initially operate with flexibility on location; however, the selected candidate will be expected to relocate to the facility location once established.

The BIG payoff

Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and participate in the financial success we achieve together.  We are committed to building a company that makes a difference in our industries and communities.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
