Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Journey-Level Electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems, machine builds, and field installation. If you have 10 or more years of hands-on electrical experience, work confidently from schematics and drawings, and are comfortable working at customer sites across a range of industrial environments, this role is for you.

What you get to do!

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems at customer facilities in the Rochester area in compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and industry standards
  • Perform wiring, conduit installation, motor controls, drive installation, power distribution, on machine and skid builds
  • Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and job specifications to deliver precise, high-quality results
  • Use testing equipment including multimeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to inspect, troubleshoot, and commission systems
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, and project managers to ensure successful project execution
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions
  • Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions immediately
  • Work as a member of a cohesive team, mentoring less experienced members
  • Display a high level of craftsmanship and strong work ethic in all tasks

What you will bring to the team

  • Journey-level electrician experience: a completed apprenticeship program, journey card, or a minimum of 10-15 years of consistent hands-on electrical experience at a journey-level scope of work
  • Proficiency in industrial electrical systems including motor controls, drives, power distribution, and machine wiring
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required
  • CDL Class A license preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy required to successfully complete assignments
  • Communication skills for effective interaction with clients, the engineering team, and strategic partners; interpersonal and collaborative team-building skills required
  • Must be physically able to climb, lift heavy objects, work from heights, and enter confined spaces
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments and in all weather conditions
  • Regular full-time employee, Monday through Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overtime; travel primarily within the Rochester area with occasional project-based travel

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $30-$45. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
