Head of U.S. Government Strategy & Sales

About Re:Build Manufacturing

At Re:Build, our mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. We are laying the foundation for a better future for our customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across the country, including in historically deindustrialized regions.

We operate an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.

We hire builders. If you need a fully-scoped plan before you'll move, this isn't the role. We need leaders who turn ambiguity into action, stay close to the work, and build the systems that make scale possible — fast.

The way we operate is as important as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate. (link to The Re:Build Way principles)

Who we are looking for

Re:Build is seeking a Head of U.S. Government Strategy & Sales to lead the company’s engagement across the federal government including but not limited to the defense and energy industrial base ecosystems. This is a senior leadership role at the intersection of policy, business development, and industrial strategy—responsible for defining how Re:Build supports U.S. defense, industrial base, and national resilience priorities, and for translating emerging government needs into commercially-viable, funded, and scalable opportunities.

They will bring a deep federal network, a commercial mindset, and the credibility to engage at the highest levels of government, defense, and industry.

What you get to do

  • Engage across the DoW, DoE other federal departments and agencies, and acquisition organizations to identify entry points through prototype programs, public-private partnerships, and industrial base funding vehicles.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with Congressional stakeholders, relevant committees, and staff to inform policy and facilitate opportunities aligned with Re:Build’s capabilities.
  • Create momentum by connecting the right stakeholders across government, primes, and industry—and driving engagements toward actionable, fundable outcomes.

  • Inform Re:Build’s investment strategy as it relates to U.S. government demand, industrial base requirements, and emerging federal funding priorities.
  • Ensure alignment between the company’s evolving capabilities and the needs of government customers—proactively identifying gaps and opportunities.

Ecosystem & Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain a high-value network of contacts across defense, policy, prime contractors, and broader industrial base ecosystem partners.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that extend Re:Build’s reach, capabilities, and relevance in the federal market.
  • Represent Re:Build as a mission-aligned partner to government and industry stakeholders pursuing domestic manufacturing and supply chain resilience goals.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
