Talent Operations Manager

United States -Remote

About Re:Build

At Re:Build, our mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. We are laying the foundation for a better future for our customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across the country, including in historically deindustrialized regions.

We operate an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.

The way we operate is as important as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate. (link to The Re:Build Way principles)

Who we are looking for

Re:Build seeks a hands-on Recruiting Operations Manager to architect and build our AI-enabled talent acquisition function. Your most important qualification is expert-level experience deploying reliable AI workflows that deliver measurable results, not just using AI tools or creating demonstrations.

We have budget, internal resources, and support from our Digital Innovation Group. Our technology environment includes but does not have to be limited to Greenhouse ATS, Clay, LinkedIn Recruiter, Textio, and Criteria.

What you get to do

  • AI architecture and delivery: Own the roadmap from workflow design and prototyping through deployment, adoption, and improvement. Determine when to configure, integrate, buy, or build.
  • Conversational AI: Deploy hiring-team and candidate-facing agents for requisition intake, process guidance, scheduling, and updates, with authorized system actions and human handoffs.
  • Recruiting infrastructure: Own system configuration, integrations, data quality, documentation, and vendor performance; reduce administrative work and unnecessary tools.
  • Analytics and planning: Partner with Finance on workforce planning. Track on-time hiring against fill dates set at requisition opening, recruiter capacity, user experience, costs, and AI impact.
  • Team enablement: Partner with recruiters, hiring leaders, Digital Innovation, and IT to build practical AI capabilities and turn prototypes into adopted, supported workflows.
  • Responsible deployment: Establish testing, monitoring, access controls, data protection, accessibility, and fairness safeguards, preserving human accountability for hiring decisions.

What you bring to the Team

  • Personally delivered multiple AI-enabled workflows into sustained use, including recruiting applications, with measurable results.
  • Production experience with conversational agents, trusted knowledge sources, connected systems, multi-step tasks, and human escalation.
  • Hands-on fluency with APIs, webhooks, structured data, automation platforms, and AI-assisted development; able to build independently and guide technical partners.
  • Strong recruiting operations, analytics, and change-management expertise, with the judgment to distinguish technology needs from process or capacity issues.

Experience that would be especially valuable

Experience with our tools, manufacturing, engineering, skilled-trades, or multi-business recruiting is valuable. Exact-tool experience does not replace demonstrated AI implementation expertise.

What success looks like

Less administrative work, better hiring-team and candidate experiences, stronger workforce visibility, and measurable gains in speed, quality, service, and cost, with reliable solutions people use.

How we will assess your experience

Be prepared to discuss two production deployments: what you personally built, reliability and adoption, measurable impact, and lessons learned. Demonstrated delivery matters more than years using a particular AI product.

Compensation (Exempt)
