Who we are looking for

We are looking for a groundbreaking manufacturing leader who excels in ownership, taking action, and working with urgency. The Value Stream Leader manages an assigned value stream from customer order receipt through production and shipment to delivery confirmation. This position directly leads the production team Pre preg composites, Infusion and Prototyping and has indirect coordination authority over project planning, engineering, quality, and shipping/logistics teams supporting the stream. 

What you get to do!

  • Take responsibility for your designated value stream starting from customer order receipt through production completion to shipment and delivery confirmation
  • Provide direct leadership to the production team within the stream
  • Drive alignment and daily progress across project planning, engineering, quality, and shipping/logistics resources through dotted-line coordination
  • Conduct daily order status reviews across planning, production, and shipping
  • Conduct daily floor rounds addressing safety, production, quality, and shipping/dock concerns related to the stream
  • Complete to the capacity split set by master scheduling for shared machines and headcount
  • Resolve same-day conflicts on shared cells directly with other Value Stream Leaders
  • Lead weekly collaborative reviews with project planning leads on at-risk jobs feeding the stream
  • Conduct weekly collaborative reviews with shipping and logistics leads regarding outbound commitments
  • Participate in monthly Customer OTD and cycle time reviews

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, production leadership, or value stream management
  • Demonstrated experience owning end-to-end order flow (order to ship) in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional coordination without direct reporting authority (dotted-line leadership)
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English required
  • Ownership approach, safety leadership, collaboration, decisiveness, data-driven, peer coordination, and a passion for using IS and AI solutions to optimize operations and drive continuous improvement
