Manager, Executive Operations

New York City, New York

What we're looking for

Recora's mission is to empower everyone to live a long, full and optimal life. We're looking for an energetic, operationally versatile Manager, Executive Operations to serve as a force multiplier across our leadership team. This role sits at the intersection of executive operations, product strategy, and business analytics - and is designed for someone who thrives on variety, moves fast, and doesn't wait to be told what to do next.

Our ideal candidate has 2-4 years of professional experience in consulting, business operations, or a fast-paced startup environment. You are data-driven and analytically sharp, but equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves on operational tasks that keep the company running. You are an effective communicator who can move seamlessly between supporting our CEO on executive operations, collaborating with our Director of Product Management on product strategy, and diving into analytics on our core virtual cardiac rehab business with our Head of Operations.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Operations, you will have direct access to Recora's CEO, members of the founding team, and company executives - making this one of the highest-exposure roles at the company and an exceptional platform for career growth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will

  • Executive Operations
    • Tackle ad hoc projects for the CEO and leadership team - from meeting preparation and follow-up to cross-functional coordination on time-sensitive initiatives
    • Lead vendor negotiations and renewals to optimize costs and service levels
    • Help prepare Board meeting materials, investor updates, and other executive communications
    • Own and improve company-wide operational processes: new team member onboarding, vendor management, and office operations
    • Manage system access across tools and platforms for contractors and full-time employees
    • Continuously identify operational bottlenecks and implement lightweight systems to resolve them
  • Product Operations
    • Partner with the Director of Product Management to support product storytelling, user research synthesis, and go-to-market coordination
    • Help translate product strategy into clear internal communications, roadmap updates, and stakeholder presentations
    • Track and report on product KPIs, feature adoption, and user feedback trends
  • Business Analytics
    • Serve as an analytics resource for the Head of Operations, building reports and dashboards on Recora's core virtual cardiac rehab business line
    • Analyze patient engagement, retention, and program outcomes to surface actionable insights
    • Support weekly business reviews with data preparation, trend analysis, and recommendations

Why this role

  • Direct access to the CEO, founding team, and company executives
  • High-exposure position across product, analytics, and operations - ideal for someone building toward a leadership career in business operations or strategy
  • Opportunity to shape and own processes at a rapidly growing digital health company
  • You will see every corner of the business and develop a uniquely holistic understanding of how a startup scales

Requirements for the Role

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in management consulting, business operations, analytics, or a startup environment
  • Strong analytical skills: comfort with Google Sheets/Excel, SQL or BI tools, and a track record of using data to drive decisions
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping balls
  • Clear, direct, and logical communication skills - written and verbal
  • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness; you see a problem and move to fix it before being asked
  • Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-moving startup
  • Personable, positive energy - someone who motivates others and builds trust quickly
  • Critical reasoning ability: you can zoom out to see the forest and zoom in to manage the trees
  • NYC-based candidates excited to work IRL 2+ days per week strongly preferred

Benefits

  • Equity compensation in Recora
  • Generous PTO, sick leave, and health benefits
  • FSA Commuter Benefits
  • 401(k) plan
  • Free lunch and snacks in the NY office
  • Health and wellness stipend

Recora offers competitive compensation packages along with stock options based on industry benchmarks for function, level, and geographic location. Offer amounts are determined by multiple factors such as a candidate's experience and expertise.
