Senior Technical Project Manager, Client Onboarding

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, Client Onboarding, you’ll join our Customer Onboarding Team, to deliver quick time-to-value solutions via prescriptive onboarding to multiple security teams. This individual owns the client engagement outcomes during the onboarding phase, working in tight partnership with the client and post-sales team on the following:
- Defining onboarding objectives and an outcomes-based onboarding plan for our top-tier enterprise clients, and shaping the strategic account plan for the year.
- Delivering on objectives, which set the foundation for customer’s success and long-time partnership with Recorded Future.
- Working cross-functionally within Recorded Future to identify opportunities and risks, and present recommendations & solutions.
- Speaking prescriptively about best-practice onboarding and intelligence use cases specific to the client’s industry.
- Ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer and effective handoff between presales, and from onboarding to the expansion team.
What You'll Do as a Senior Technical Project Manager, Client Onboarding:
- Manage top premium accounts (strategic and enterprise)
- Technical problem solving
- Use your resources to find solutions to difficult or complex issues during onboarding and outline clear next steps
- Client Consultation on Implementation and Security Best Practices
- Expertly consult customers on Recorded Future’s onboarding best practices, their path to outcomes, recommendations, etc. Become a partner they instantly feel comfortable with and trust.
- Expert in Effective Communications
- Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communications; able to modify writing to different personas
- Knows how to speak in language relevant to the client to motivate them and show that we understand them
- Leader in Project Management Best Practices
- Create an onboarding plan specific to the customer that achieves their stated objectives within the desired time frame.
- Share weekly project updates with customers and internally.
- Manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Product Training & Consultation
- Conduct new user advance training with a focus on client’s priority use cases to ensure our clients are proficient using the Recorded Future Portal and show a high adoption rate during the onboarding(over 70%)
- Lead on developing, shaping, and enhancing premium services client onboarding
- Enhancing kick-off and review slides
- Enhancing the overall client experience
What you’ll bring to the Senior Technical Project Manager, Client Onboarding role:
Knowledge
- BS degree or 4 years of relevant work experience required
- Knowledge of basic API/integration troubleshooting steps
- Certifications:
- Security+ (Strongly recommended)
- Certified Analyst Lab (CAL) (required within the first 4 months)
- All available Recorded Future certifications (required within the first 4 months)
- PMP Certification (strongly recommended)
- Certified Scrum Master (recommended)
Competencies:
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Master client workflow discovery across all types of client team functions
- Ability to conduct advanced product workshops
- Superb communication skills with an ability to convey complex concepts to all levels of personnel
- Proficiency with Recorded Future’s top 5 integrations (Splunk, Qradar, Azure Sentinel, Cortex XSOAR, Phantom)
- Understanding of key use cases and features
- Understand the following by reviewing the Installation guide:
- Installation requirements
- Basic configuration steps
- Basic troubleshooting
- Ability to search and extract alerts, indicators, and risk lists across the Connect API endpoint (link to the documentation here)
- Product Training & Consultation
- Conduct new user advance training with a focus on client’s priority use cases to ensure our clients are proficient using the Recorded Future Portal and show a high adoption rate during the onboarding(over 70%)
- Lead on developing, shaping, and enhancing premium services client onboarding

Requirements:
- US-based, and ability to work from our Arlington, VA or Somerville, MA office
