This Role - Channel Director APJ: As a central leadership figure, you will be steering Recorded Future’s channel sales growth across the expansive Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) theater. In close alignment with the VP of APJ Sales and Regional Sales Directors, you will manage our reseller and distribution channels, along with MSSPs, System Integrators, and other Service Partners. This pivotal role encompasses the orchestration of a theatre-wide program, offering guidance to our team of Channel Account Managers and Services Partner Managers, and ensuring a harmonized collaboration with various internal functions. Your focus will consistently be on fortifying partner engagement and achieving our ambitious revenue goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive Channel Sales Strategy: Spearhead strategies across APJ, focusing on reseller, distribution channels, MSSPs, and System Integrators to meet revenue and partner-sourced targets.
- Lead & Mentor: Direct, nurture, and manage a dynamic team of channel and partner account/sales managers, encouraging a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Program Implementation: Architect and deploy a theatre-wide channel sales program, ensuring consistency and proactive strategies across various territories.
- Strengthen Internal Collaboration: Forge strong relationships with sales, marketing, engineering, and enablement teams to amplify partner engagement and alignment towards revenue targets.
- Enhance Partner Relations: Develop and sustain executive-level relationships with key partners, ensuring a productive and lasting partnership.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze market trends, partner feedback, and sales data to refine and iterate on our channel strategy for sustained growth.
What You’ll Bring:
- Tenure: At least 8+ years of experience in channel sales or related roles, with prior experience in leadership positions.
- Market Acumen: Profound understanding of the APJ market dynamics, cultural variances, and partner ecosystems.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs consistently.
- Team Development: Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and nurturing teams, fostering both individual and collective growth.
- Strategic Approach: Exceptional ability to architect and execute sales strategies, with a keen eye on ROI and long-term partnerships.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid grasp of the cybersecurity landscape and the challenges and opportunities within the APJ region.
- Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Salesforce for reporting and data analysis.
