Head of AI Innovation

Our client, one of Thailand’s leading financial groups, is seeking a Head of AI Innovation to shape how data and AI drive business growth and customer experience in one of their new digital ventures

This high-impact role involves leading the strategy and implementation of AI across key domains, including customer engagement and product design, to decision intelligence and risk management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building an AI-driven organisation that makes financial services smarter, more inclusive, and more personal.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with leaders across business, technology, and compliance to build a bank that is intelligent by design.

 

In this role, you will get to;

  • Set a clear direction for how AI and data will drive the business, and turn that strategy into a practical roadmap.
  • Build the foundation including data pipelines, model infrastructure, analytics tools, and the team that brings it all to life.
  • Use AI to make banking better, from fairer credit scoring and smarter fraud detection to truly personalized customer experiences.
  • Bring structure and transparency to how AI is governed, ensuring ethical use and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of almost 10 data scientists, AI engineers, and analysts.
  • Partner with product, business, and compliance teams to bring AI ideas into production and measure their impact.
  • Help the company become fluent in AI, not just in technology but in mindset and culture.

 

You will be successful if you have;

  • Solid experience leading AI, data, or analytics teams in fast moving environments, ideally within banking, fintech, or tech driven companies.
  • Strong understanding of the AI and data lifecycle; from data engineering to deploying machine learning models.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics, with enough seniority and experience to lead and guide a technical team.
  • Strategic and hands on, comfortable shaping the vision while staying close to the work.
  • Familiar with compliance, data governance, and working in regulated environments.
  • A confident communicator who can align senior stakeholders and regulators around new ideas.
  • Curious, forward thinking, and grounded, someone who can see the big picture but knows how to make it happen.
  • Strong English proficiency; Thai nationals and expats are both welcome to apply.
