The company is continuing to invest in internal developer platforms that help engineering teams build and operate systems securely at scale.

About the Role

This role is for a highly Tech Product Manager who will lead compliance platform initiatives. You will work at the intersection of platform engineering, security, infrastructure, and software teams to improve how services authenticate, communicate, and operate securely in production.

You will define and drive the roadmap for platforms related to service identity, authentication, authorization, access controls, and secrets management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving deeply technical platform and security challenges while enabling hundreds of engineers to move faster and more safely.

Responsibilities

  • Lead change management and support engineering teams in adopting new security controls and workflows.

  • Own and drive the roadmap for secure production platform capabilities.

  • Identify security, access control, and platform gaps that create risk or friction for engineering teams.

  • Define product direction for service identity, authentication, authorization, secrets management, and secure communication frameworks.

  • Support and improve platform capabilities related to OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, RBAC, ABAC, IAM, and policy enforcement.

  • Partner with engineering on platform architecture, scalability, and security trade-offs.

  • Work closely with security, infrastructure, and platform engineering teams to define and deliver scalable platform solutions.

  • Define success metrics and measure platform adoption, policy compliance, security coverage, and operational impact.

  • Drive standardization of secure service-to-service communication and access patterns across engineering teams.

  • Translate complex technical and security requirements into clear product priorities and execution plans.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a highly technical product role.

  • Prior hands-on experience in software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure, security engineering, or identity/access management is required.

  • Strong understanding of internal platform products, distributed systems, and production environments.

  • Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts such as OIDC, mTLS, OAuth2, service identity, ABAC/RBAC, IAM, and secrets management.

  • Experience working closely with engineers on roadmap, architecture, and delivery.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-scale, and ambiguous environments.

  • Strong ownership mindset and the ability to lead complex technical initiatives end-to-end.
