Position Overview

Rectangle Health is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager with a strong focus on SEO/SEM to join our growing Marketing team. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence, driving organic and paid search strategies, and maximizing ROI. As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO/SEM strategies to drive traffic, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility. You will lead both on-page and off-page SEO initiatives, optimize technical SEO, and manage our pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to align content strategy with search trends and ensure an optimal online experience.

Primary Job Duties:

  • SEO Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, technical) across all digital properties.
    • Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
    • Optimize website structure, content, and technical elements to improve organic search rankings.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot technical SEO issues, including broken links and 404 errors.
  • PPC Campaign Management:
    • Plan, execute, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google, Bing, and other relevant platforms.
    • Manage and optimize ad spend to maximize ROI and achieve target ROAS.
    • Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure SEO/SEM success.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting dashboards using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and SEMrush.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Website Management:
    • Perform regular audits and updates to the website via WordPress.
    • Ensure optimal functionality, usability and accessibility.
    • Track website traffic, user behavior, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Content Collaboration:
    • Partner with the marketing team and content agencies to align content development with SEO best practices and search trends.
    • Provide subject matter expertise to optimize landing pages, blog posts, and website content.
    • Collaborate on long-term content strategies from ideation to implementation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with web development vendors and internal teams to implement SEO recommendations.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.
    • Industry Expertise:
      • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO/SEM trends and technologies.
      • Continuously seek opportunities to improve our digital marketing strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (10+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • 6+ years of proven experience in SEO/SEM management, either within an organization or a digital marketing agency.
  • Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing Google/Microsoft PPC campaigns. (Including Display)
  • Advanced knowledge of WordPress CMS – ability to edit, add, and optimize pages with SEO enrichment
  • Experience with SEO and reporting tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, Looker/Data Studio, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, Moz, and/or Brightedge.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and schema markup.
  • Understanding of Core Web Vitals and page speed optimization.
  • Ability to perform log file analysis.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with website content management systems.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Understanding of WP Engine and website hosting services
    • Experience with Reddit Ads
    • Social media management skills – comfort level creating and/or recommending content, scheduling posts, and responding to comments

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Project Management Experience – skilled at planning SEO projects, establishing realistic timelines, communicating with stakeholders, allocating resources, troubleshooting issues and delivering (and measuring) results.
  • Brand Management Skills –Understand Rectangle Health’s brand and how it aligns with business objectives. Insight into these areas will help inform content development and feed into the overarching SEO roadmap.
