Position Overview
We are looking for a Program Manager with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional software initiatives, ideally in healthcare technology or healthcare payments. Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is critical.
This role is pivotal to driving execution across Product, Engineering, Onboarding, Implementation, Finance and Customer Success. You’ll bring structure and momentum to complex initiatives, ensuring visibility, accountability, and progress against shared goals. You’ll also help shape how we work—facilitating collaboration while staying laser-focused on outcomes.
- As a Program Manager at Rectangle Health, you will play a critical role in delivering high-impact initiatives across cross-functional teams. You’ll ensure programs are delivered on time, on scope, and with measurable outcomes—helping transform how providers onboard and engage with healthcare payer payments.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex programs across the complete value stream at Rectangle Health
- Develop and maintain program plans, identify and track dependencies, and proactively manage risks and blockers
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align priorities, surface tradeoffs, and collaborate with functional area leaders to resolve delivery challenges
- Provide consistent, transparent updates on program health and status to executive sponsors and key stakeholders

Primary Job Duties
- Drive the successful execution of cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Build and manage integrated program plans that clearly outline timelines, milestones, risks, and ownership
- Identify and manage interdependencies across teams, escalating blockers and driving resolution where needed
- Act as the key point of orchestration across Product, Engineering, Onboarding, Delivery, Finance, Compliance, Security and Customer Success to keep initiatives on track
- Provide clear, consistent updates on program status, risks, and achievements to stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Facilitate decision-making by ensuring the right information is surfaced to the right people at the right time
- Continuously assess and improve program delivery processes to increase efficiency, accountability, and visibility
Minimum Qualifications:
- Several years of program/project management experience
- Great communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Experience working with software development teams and cross-functional teams
- Prior experience working in project management tools like MSProject, Smartsheets or any comparable tools
- Has worked in a role that requires cross-functional team communication
- Experience performing process improvements
- Startup or High Growth experience is a must
- Payment processing experience is a plus
- Healthcare claims payment is a plus
