Azure Architect Compliance
**Remote Long Term Contract Opportunity**

As a Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining effective governance strategies for Azure cloud environments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring security, compliance, and optimal resource utilization within the Cloud environments and ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce governance policies, monitor infrastructure, and continuously improve the cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and consult projects, remotely, in a hands-on role driving Azure cloud. Migration/adoption from inception to production.
- Designing, testing, and implementing Azure migrations. Asses On-prem/Non-Azure Cloud application services migrations in both a manual and automated manner.
- Consultant and influence customers technical road map to best Practices.
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for cloud-based solutions. This included leading and delegating to project engineers.
- Architect, design, and implement plans for deploying complex application workloads on Azure.
- Architect highly available, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document governance policies, including security, compliance and resource management.
- Partner with InfoSec to conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure adherence to industry specific compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists, and other technical resources within Redapt and with customers.
- Assume responsibility for all customer presentations and deliverables.
- Mentor and provide technical oversight to implementation teams while working in a coordinated manner to deliver and deploy the designed architecture.
- Create reference architectures, technical collateral, and project close documentation.
Professional Qualifications:
- Expert-level knowledge consulting with Azure IaaS services (i.e. Compute, networking, databases, storage, backup and archive, DR, security, monitoring, etc.).
- Understanding network topologies, load balancing, and segmentation.
- Experience with Application Migration.
- Experience with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level.
- Terraform focused Infrastructure as Code deployments.
- Implement IaaC practices to automate deployment and configuration processes.
- Set up monitoring solutions to track system performance, security events and compliance status.
- Experience working with Partner Network and its contractual processes.
- Be certified or demonstrate the ability to become certified as a Cloud Solution Architect.
- Strong expertise in Security & Identity services (i.e. Domain Services, Security Center, Governance).
Additionally, you will showcase the following:
- You have 7+ years of overall industry experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have 5+ years of experience with demonstrated Cloud architecture projects and deployments.
- 3+ years of overall Client facing consultant experience.
- You have 5+ years of experience with Cloud solutions, platforms, and technologies.
- You have 3+ years of experience across the business development life cycle (i.e. Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, and Proposal Development).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work-related experience.
The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $140,000 - $190,000 annually + bonuses + benefits. Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.
