Solution Architect Oracle Fusion

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the migration from SAP to Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management (SCM) with a specific focus on the Order to Cash (O2C), Period to Date (P2D), and Source to Pay (S2P) modules. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise throughout the transformation journey, ensuring that the business requirements are met and the migration process is seamless, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design:
  • Lead the design and implementation of the Oracle Fusion SCM solution for the O2C, P2D, and S2P modules, ensuring it aligns with business needs and IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other architects to define and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop high-level solution architecture, including system integrations, customizations, data migration strategies, and reporting needs.
• SAP to Oracle Fusion SCM Migration:
  • Oversee the end-to-end migration process from SAP to Oracle Fusion SCM, with a focus on data migration, process re-engineering, and system integration.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues during migration.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the migration strategy, focusing on minimal disruption to business operations.
• Business Process Optimization:
  • Drive process improvements across the O2C, P2D, and S2P modules, identifying areas for automation, efficiency gains, and best practices.
  • Ensure that business processes are mapped effectively to the Oracle Fusion system while considering both short-term and long-term goals.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams and guide technical experts during design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Partner with Oracle consultants and developers to ensure the solution is designed and delivered in line with Oracle Fusion best practices.
  • Collaborate with other architects to ensure seamless integration with other systems (e.g., Finance, CRM, Inventory).
• Customization & Configuration:
  • Work with the functional team to configure Oracle Fusion SCM to meet the specific business requirements of the O2C, P2D, and S2P processes.
  • Recommend and implement customizations as required to address unique business needs, ensuring that they align with Oracle Fusion capabilities and do not disrupt future system upgrades.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • Oversee the design and execution of test plans for functional, integration, and performance testing, ensuring that all solution components work as expected.
  • Ensure user acceptance testing (UAT) is successfully completed and sign-offs are achieved from business stakeholders.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flows, and integration designs.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure sustainable operations post-migration.
• Change Management & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to keep them informed of progress, risks, and issues related to the migration.
  • Lead the development and delivery of training for end-users and other stakeholders on Oracle Fusion SCM functionalities.

Skills you bring with you:

• Expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM, with a deep understanding of the O2C, P2D, and S2P modules.
• Strong background in SAP (ECC/ S/4 HANA) and experience with migration methodologies.
• Knowledge of system integration tools, middleware (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud), and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Data Migration (using Oracle Data Management, LSMW, etc.), including data cleansing and validation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion SCM implementations.
• Proven experience in SAP to Oracle Fusion SCM migrations, specifically for Order to Cash (O2C), Period to Date (P2D), and Source to Pay (S2P) modules.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including order management, procurement, invoicing, and financial integration.
• Oracle Fusion SCM certification (e.g., Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management).
• SAP certifications (SAP S/4HANA, SAP SCM).
• TOGAF or other architecture frameworks are a plus.
• Ability to drive business transformation and inspire confidence in stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and business alignment.
