AWS Presales Solution Architect

Redapt is seeking an experienced Senior AWS Solutions Architect with a focus on Pre-Sales.   As a customer senior solutions architect, you will partner with our sales and delivery teams to deliver innovative solutions that power our customers' most demanding applications and enable them to extract powerful insights from data that drive true business value.   

Responsibilities: 

• Partnering with our AWS Sellers team members and experience working within the AWS eco-sytem in a must!
• Work with our Delivery team as they design and implement microservices-based applications on AWS.
• Work with clients to modernize legacy applications and build new cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with architects, systems specialists, and AWS experts to create proposals and deliver projects.
• Mentor and coach infrastructure and application engineering teams on the Amazon eco-system.  
• Present technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Build a community by regularly publishing content and delivering talks. 

Skills you bring with you: 

• General understanding of Terraform, CI/CD, testing, DevSecOps, IAM, encryption, secret & key management, access controls, and security would be ideal. 
• The ability to articulate solutions and benefits to people of varying technical backgrounds
• Excellent communication and customer presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in an enterprise and local government customer environments.
• Ability to travel to customer sites when necessary. 

Qualifications: 

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or comparable industry experience.
• You have 7+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services solutions architecture.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in DevOps would be nice to have.
• Possess 3+ years partnering with Delivery team on Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture.
• Possess Kubernetes certification CKA, CKAD, or similar is preferred. 

Travel required: 

• Travel typically 50% or more a month.  

The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $180,000 - $200,000 annually + bonuses + benefits.  Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.  Please note that the compensation details listed in the US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonuses or benefits.
