QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to participate in a dynamic and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of testing and delivering solutions for multiple customers. Experience working with Agile/SCRUM project methodologies is critical as release cycles will correspond to fast-paced sprints. This resource will have the ability and experience to mentor less experienced consultants and be a leader for the team. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual and automation testing.  

Responsibilities: 

• Performing all aspects of software quality assurance development of test plans and test cases using Azure DevOps (or other) — manual and automated   

• Identifying and prioritizing the appropriate mix of areas of testing (i.e. functional, security, accessibility, performance, etc.) given project requirements and constraints 

• Performing the execution of manual and automated test cases, bug tracking and status reporting for testing of .NET applications    

• Performing integration testing for web-based software applications using a .NET / React tech stack 
• Configuring and maintaining test environments as needed  

Skills you bring with you: 

• Extensive experience providing quality assurance for three-tiered architecture including testing data, services and UI layers 

• A mindset toward how to do automation testing - what should be automated and how   

• Experience identifying the appropriate frameworks for automation for a given project and extending them as needed 
• Experience developing automated test cases in C#, Python or similar  

Qualifications: 

• BS or MS in Computer Science or engineering or equivalent work experience will be considered.  

• This position requires a knowledge of and/or relevant experience as a manual and automation QA engineer.    

• Experience (5+ year’s) using cloud solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure   

• Experience in development of automated tests in one or more languages:    

• C#/ .NET (5+ years)   

• JavaScript/TypeScript (3 years) 

• Python (3 years)   

• Experience with one or more of the following UI automation tooling:   

• Selenium 

• Playwright 

• Other comparable tooling 
• Extensive experience in recommendation of QA processes and procedures 

Additionally, you will showcase the following: (if needed)  

• Self-management of estimates, tasks, escalations, risks/issues   

• Ability to clearly articulate concepts to people with varying technical background   

• Good working knowledge on DevOps processes (CI/CD)   
• Ability and willingness to be able to lead and mentor others 

Travel required: 

• Travel will likely not be required for this role but candidate needs to be open to it if arises

The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $100,000 - $130,000 annually.  Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The salary range displayed in each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.  Please note, the base pay offered may vary within the range depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to work location, job related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.  Please note that the compensation details listed in the US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonuses or benefits.
