Position Overview
As an HVAC Controls Technician at Redblue, you will be instrumental in installing, programming, and optimizing building automation systems (BAS) for our diverse client base. From initial design and installation through ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting, you’ll ensure our customers’ HVAC and control systems are operating at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Niagara/Tridium Expertise
- Install, program, and troubleshoot Niagara / Tridium systems, including designing and updating system graphics.
- Oversee upgrades and modifications to existing installations.

System Diagnostics & Maintenance
- Perform site analysis via remote access, diagnosing and repairing BAS and HVAC equipment with minimal assistance.
- Respond to service calls promptly, ensuring downtime is minimized.

Client Relations
- Cultivate strong client relationships, delivering world-class service and clear communication.
- Manage warranty work, including attending warranty hand-off meetings and conducting site visits as needed.

Solution Development
- Partner with team members to devise innovative solutions that enhance system performance and longevity.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to maintain Redblue’s reputation for excellence.
Qualifications

BAS/DDC Experience
- 3+ years of direct digital controls (DDC) experience and 3+ years working with HVAC mechanical systems.
- Hands-on proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and graphics work for platforms such as Niagara and Tridium.

Technical Skills
- Familiarity with Honeywell Spyder and Johnson FX control systems is a plus.
- Basic understanding of IT networking and remote diagnostics.
