Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract) 

Location: Greater Washington D.C. Area (preferred), SF/Bay Area, Seattle, Remote  

We're seeking a driven and process-oriented Senior Technical Recruiter to join our growing, talent team for a 5-month contract starting at 30 hours per week. This is a contract position located in greater Washington D.C area.  At Red Cell, the ideal candidate will have a passion for the “thrill of the hunt” in finding the perfect candidate, a knack for building strong relationships with clients, and a hunger to make a significant impact on our organization's growth.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement the latest recruiting and sourcing strategies to attract top-tier technical talent focused on technical roles  
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing , coordination, to offer negotiation 
  • Utilize Greenhouse ATS and GoodTime scheduling to optimize and streamline the recruitment process 
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter to identify and engage passive candidates effectively 
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, ideal profile, the “sell”, and team dynamics 
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate technical interviews 
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process 
  • Continuously analyze and improve recruitment metrics and processes 
  • Partner with our incubations to provide insights into the talent market as well as the motivations of the top candidates  
  • Negotiate offers within range and with respect to our full benefits package with tools such as Radford and Carta 

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in a startup and/or venture capital environment 
  • 2 + years of experience with Greenhouse ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter 
  • 1+ years of experience with GoodTime scheduling (goodtime.io) 
  • Experience with U.S. Department of Defense cleared recruiting and hiring  
  • Located in the Washington, D.C. area with the ability to come into our office in McLean, VA  
  • Detailed understanding of all data science, machine learning, software engineering, and infrastructure technical roles, where they align in the software development process, and ability to evaluate candidates' skills 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills 
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding yearly hiring targets 
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field

Hourly Rate: $55.00 - $85.00. This represents the typical rate for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
