About Structuring & Advisory

Redding Ridge’s Structuring & Advisory team plays a central role in managing Redding’s ~$44 billion of debt across broadly syndicated lo CLOs and senior unsecured bonds, while serving as the primary structuring partner to Apollo’s Private Credit and Asset-Backed Finance initiatives. Redding Ridge’s mandate spans Apollo’s 16 origination platforms, multiple issuance shelves, and a broad range of strategic partnerships. Since 2020, the team has helped structure and issue over $225 billion of rated debt. Our track record reflects our ability to combine deep structuring expertise across CLOs, ABS, Corporate, and Fund Finance to consistently innovate and provide next-generation rated solutions, both public and private. We take a long-term, partnership-oriented view, and our success is a direct result of that approach.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior team members and other stakeholders, including Apollo, Athene and Apollo platform companies, to assist in all stages of deal execution 
  • Support senior structurers across novel asset-backed and fund finance transactions globally, including AMAPS/APDS, NAV Loans, rated note feeders and flow ABS (Aqua, Wheels, Capteris and others) 
  • Analyze historical portfolio and performance data to derive base case collateral assumptions and stress scenarios that inform structural decisions 
  • Assist in building and running cashflow models using Excel and Intex for rating agency and investor scenarios 
  • Maintain pipeline deal trackers, transaction comp sheets and criteria grids across ABS asset classes 
  • Prepare and deliver investor marketing and rating agency presentations and other materials 
  • Maintain and drive execution timelines by tracking deliverables across clients, legal counsel, bank partners and rating agencies 
  • Assist in managing the full transaction lifecycle – from initial deal design and collateral analysis through rating agency engagement, documentation negotiation and ultimate execution – ensuring consistency and proper communication at every stage across all deal parties 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • 3+ years of ABS/Funds structuring experience; ideal candidates will have experience working at investment banks, accounting firms, or rating agencies 
  • Proficient in Intex (dealmaker and calc) and Excel cash flow modelling, VBA a plus 
  • Working knowledge of agency methodologies across one or more asset classes, with the drive to expand that range  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present complex information clearly 
  • Highly organized with strong time management; proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment  
  • Intellectual curios, detailed-oriented, and receptive to constructive feedback 
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, mathematics or a related field with strong academic credentials 

Pay Range

$175,000 - $200,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above and is dependent on individual candidate experience and skills. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
