We are looking for a strategic and globally-minded leader to head our Sales Enablement team, which focuses on building engaging programs and impactful experiences to help our internal sales teams drive customer value by harnessing the collective power of communities with Reddit Ads. 

As the Director of Global Sales Enablement, you will drive the strategy, prioritization, and roadmap of Reddit’s global sales enablement programs, translating key business strategies into training and resources that will improve sales org effectiveness and client satisfaction.  You will create and scale enablement programs and resources that accelerate new hire readiness, improve sales skills across the board, and deliver segment‑tailored learning and content for Large Enterprise, Mid‑Market, and SMB teams.

This role is ideally based in-person from either our New York or San Francisco offices, but we will consider qualified candidates based in other locations within the US.

What you’ll do: 

  • Leadership & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead a tiered organization that includes a people manager and teams of Global and Channel Enablement Program Managers
    • Define the vision for the team, setting clear goals, coaching regularly, and enabling professional growth
    • Ruthlessly prioritize business asks and align cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Product Marketing, RSO, Product, HR) on a unified enablement strategy.
    • Represent the Enablement function across leadership forums, sales kickoffs, and GTM planning cycles.
    • Champion a culture of learning, excellence, and seller empowerment across the global sales organization.
  • Onboarding & Ramp Acceleration:
    • Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of a world-class onboarding experience for Sales new hires with the goal of reducing time-to-productivity and accelerating time-to-quota.
    • Lead the identification of onboarding KPIs (e.g., time to first deal, attainment at 30/60/90/180 days) and work with XFN business leaders across Sales and Revenue Strategy to RSO track and report on program effectiveness
    • Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure onboarding is role- and regional-specific (including EMEA, Canada, Australia), and evolves with market and product shifts.
  • Ongoing Sales Skill Development & Product Adoption
    •  Sales Coaching benchmarks for our Sales Management Team. 
    • Collaborate with Sales leaders to identify sales core competencies and knowledge gaps, and develop a strategy to upskill experienced reps while reinforcing our sales methodology and plays.
    • Enable readiness for new product launches by working with your program managers and XFN stakeholders to translate go-to-market strategy into training, sales materials, and customer-facing messaging.
    • Partner with RSO, PMM and Product Adoption on targeting enablement programs to specific teams where relevant. 
    • Continue to evolve our sales coaching benchmarks and establish measureable coaching best practices for our Sales Management team.
  • Lead Segment-Specific Enablement Programs
    • Lead the development of enablement strategies customized for Large Customer, Mid-Market, and SMB sales motions.
    • Develop market-aware enablement for international regions, especially in emerging or growing markets like EMEA, Canada, and Australia.
    • Align closely with segment leaders to ensure programs support both local needs and global consistency.
  • Program Management & Content Strategy
    • Plan and drive global enablement programs that align with sales and business goals.
    • Manage the development and execution of learning programs across modalities (i.e. live workshops, virtual training, peer-to-peer sessions, on-demand/self-paced courses)
    • Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess knowledge, skills, and capabilities across sales roles and geographies, identifying training needs and content gaps.
    • Build and maintain scalable enablement content including sales playbooks, product collateral, role-based learning paths, competitive intelligence, and talk tracks.
    • Identify tools and resources to enable your team to produce scalable learning content leveraging new technology like AI
  • Measurement, Feedback & Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and analyze success metrics to assess the performance and business impact of enablement programs.
    • Monitor sales KPIs (win rates, pipeline coverage, quota attainment, deal velocity) and correlate with training participation and engagement.
    • Audit program feedback, participation, and completion rates to inform continuous improvement.
    • Use data to make strategic decisions on enablement priorities, scaling, or sunsetting programs that no longer drive ROI.

Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of people management experience within sales enablement, including managing people managers
  • 15+ years of work experience in enablement, GTM readiness or sales management
  • Proven success leading enablement within a high-growth, fast-paced, and evolving company 
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking enablement effectiveness and business outcomes
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver them in a way that resonates with both mid-level and seasoned sellers 
  • Proven track record as a great cross-functional business partner and ability to lead and drive accountability across sales leadership, product marketing, product and strategy & operations teams.  
  • Experience building, implementing, and scaling global enablement programs from scratch across the full sales cycle
  • Experience building and executing regional/local market strategies and programs 
  • Experience leveraging technology and AI to scale enablement moments, content and delivery
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and navigate ambiguity while driving clarity and results

Pay Transparency:

This job posting may span more than one career level.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is:

$210,800 - $295,200 USD
