We’re evolving streaming beyond the Apache Kafka® protocol into a unified “engine of record” that delivers a categorical reduction in complexity, wicked-fast performance, onboard Wasm transforms, and transparent tiered storage that gives consumers access to both real-time and historical data from a single API.
 

About the Role: 

We’re looking for a Field Marketing Manager who thrives on building memorable experiences and high-impact programs that generate pipeline and deepen customer relationships. You’ll be a key player in our growing marketing team, owning field programs across North America & EMEA to support sales goals and drive brand awareness in key markets.

This is a strategic and hands-on role—ideal for someone who loves tech, knows how to execute with precision, and wants to make a real impact at a fast-moving startup.

You Will: 

  • Plan, execute, and optimize field marketing programs including regional events, meetups, executive dinners, and partner activations
  • Align closely with sales, product marketing, and demand gen to support pipeline goals and regional GTM initiatives
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics: venue selection, vendor coordination, swag & signage, registration, and on-site presence
  • Collaborate with ADRs and AEs to drive pre- and post-event engagement
  • Analyze and report on event performance, ROI, and lead quality to continuously improve efforts
  • Help identify new field opportunities based on regional data, customer feedback, and sales input.
  • Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all field touchpoints

You Have: 

  • 3–5 years of field/event marketing experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS or developer-first company
  • Strong understanding of the sales funnel, pipeline development, and how marketing can support sales success
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendors in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with platforms like Salesforce, Hubspot, and event management tools
  • Willingness to travel ~40-50% for event execution
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and driven to deliver outstanding attendee experiences
  • Bonus: Passion for real-time data, open source, or developer tools

 

U.S. base salary range for this role is $97,500 - $114,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary. Your talent partner will share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
