Floating Maintenance Technician III

Ready for the next step in your maintenance career journey? The Floating Maintenance Technician III at RedPeak supports maintenance operations and ensures the overall physical condition and functionality of properties across RedPeak’s portfolio.
This role provides advanced technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general property maintenance while assisting with preventative maintenance programs, service requests, access
control systems, and Fire Life Safety systems. The position also plays a key role in training, onboarding, and mentoring maintenance team members throughout RedPeak's portfolio to promote consistency, professional development, and operational excellence across all communities.
 
Key Responsibilities

Quality of Maintenance Work

 Reviews MIQ dashboards, evaluates workload demands, and provides on-site

maintenance support across the portfolio as needed.

 Accurately diagnoses issues and delivers cost-effective, long-term repair solutions.

 Performs general maintenance duties including, but not limited to, HVAC, electrical,

plumbing, pool operations, grounds work, and snow removal.

 Coordinates, oversees, and evaluates the quality of work performed by external

contractors.

Planning and Organization

 Maintains inventory of parts and supplies; tracks usage and coordinates ordering to

minimize downtime and expenses.

 Identifies efficient approaches for addressing maintenance requests and manages

periods of high service demand effectively.

 Assists with preventative maintenance inspections, move-out inspections, and Fire Life

Safety inspections.

 Ensures detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all maintenance activities.

Customer Service and Professionalism

 Ensures residents feel valued and respected throughout all interactions.

 Communicates effectively with residents from diverse age groups and cultural

backgrounds.

 Resolves resident concerns promptly to promote a positive living experience.

 Upholds standards for uniforms, dress code, hygiene, and overall professional

appearance.

 Maintains professionalism across all communication channels, including email, phone,

video conferences, and text messaging.

Access Control and Security

 Identifies and works to resolve any access control or safety issues found at a property.

 Ensures site teams understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.

 Assists with evaluating existing access control systems, identifying improvements and

implementing new systems.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday-Friday,  8am-5pm (flexible)

Pay: $29 - $33 per/hour plus bonus potential

Multi-Site throughout Denver metro. RedPeak Home Office is located at 375 S. Broadway

Certifications and Experience

  • Technical degree in related field or an equivalent amount of training or experience.
  • 2-5 years in multifamily maintenance, construction or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • EPA 608 and CPO a plus, but not required
  • Proficient in computer and communication skills
