Transitions Experience Manager

Provo, Utah

Redstone Residential is a national student and multi-family housing operator, managing more than 38,000 beds across 20 states. We are one of the largest third-party student housing management companies in the U.S. - and we're just getting started.

Our rapidly growing conventional housing portfolio reflects our ambitious, forward-thinking approach to real estate management. Headquartered in Provo, Utah, we combine industry-leading systems with a high-energy culture to deliver exceptional property performance and resident experiences.

Redstone's purpose is "to empower our people and elevate communities." We achieve our purpose by embodying our core values:

  • We Are Believers
  • We Communicate Authentically with Care
  • We Stay The Course
  • We Drive Performance

Redstone – Empowering People. Elevating Communities.

Do you love being the calm, confident presence in someone's biggest moment of change? Do you find real satisfaction in turning a messy handoff into a smooth Day 1? Are you the kind of person who can juggle a dozen moving pieces (schedules, systems, people) and still make everyone feel like they're your only priority?

If you're nodding along, this might be your next move.

Why Redstone?

At Redstone, we’re not just a property management company. We’re a culture company that happens to manage properties.

Our purpose:
To empower our people & elevate communities.

Our vision:
To create a high-performing, people-first culture that attracts, develops, and empowers team members to thrive.

Our vibe:
Energetic. Fun. Creative. Growth-minded. People-first. Performance-driven.
(Yes, you genuinely get both heart and hustle here.)

As a company that serves student & multi-family communities, our culture naturally leans to vibrant, curious, and innovative. We believe in staying playful while driving meaningful results. We experiment. We learn. We grow. We celebrate wins (big and small). And we build experiences that make people proud to work here.

The Opportunity:

We're hiring a Transitions Experience Manager to be the face of Redstone for every new client and every incoming on-site team, guiding each property through the full transition journey, from the moment the Property Management Agreement is signed through a confident Day 60.

In this role, you'll be the single point of contact for clients and department heads during one of the biggest moments of change they'll experience with us, blending warm, high-end hospitality with sharp back-end execution in Entrata.

You'll work directly with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and across departments to keep every transition on schedule, on-brand, and stress-free for the client. The role is built for someone who's just as comfortable presenting to an ownership group as they are heads-down in a spreadsheet. Prior Regional Manager experience is not required.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Projects calm authority and genuine warmth during high-stakes moments of change
  • Communicates with exceptional emotional intelligence and active listening
  • Stays organized under tight deadlines, juggling several transitions at once
  • Notices process gaps and brings solutions instead of just flagging problems
  • Picks up new systems quickly and isn't intimidated by property-level financial reports
  • Follows through on every commitment, even when priorities shift fast
  • Takes initiative and doesn't need constant direction
  • Uses AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to work smarter, not harder

What You'll Own:

As our Transitions Experience Manager, you will:

  • Transition-In: Take ownership of the client relationship the moment a PMA is signed, and stay the single point of contact for the client and department heads through Day 60.
  • Project warmth and high-end hospitality in every client touchpoint, weaving Redstone's core values into the transition experience.
  • Own the transition checklist (RFI collection, data prep, Entrata configuration, and Go-Live migration), keeping every department head and milestone on schedule.
  • Travel to the property for Day 1 launch on Tier 1 transitions (alongside the Regional Manager); support Tier 2 transitions remotely.
  • On-Site Team Onboarding: Train and mentor the new community manager and staff on timelines, SOPs, and software adoption for their first 30–60 days.
  • Deliver the 30–60 day client report and run weekly check-in calls with the Community Manager through stabilization, until the Regional Manager takes over full ownership.
  • Operational Handoffs: Partner with regional operations managers to audit site-level workflows so daily responsibilities shift without disrupting resident satisfaction or lease administration.
  • Transition-Outs: Compile final reporting and coordinate with internal departments to close out every RFI item when a property leaves management. No travel required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Build feedback loops with on-site staff to catch friction points, and bring process fixes back to Operations and Leadership.

This is the kind of role where staying two steps ahead pays off: for you, for the client, and for the team you're handing things off to.

Who You Are:

You're a builder at your core: someone who makes people feel steady and supported, even when everything around them is changing.

You bring:

  • 1+ years in a client-facing coordination, hospitality, or operations role
  • Comfort leading calls and presenting directly to clients and ownership groups
  • The ability to read and speak to property-level financial and operational reports (AP/AR, rent roll, delinquency)
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills: you can run several transitions at once without dropping a ball
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and making people feel confident during big change
  • Integrity and follow-through, even when priorities shift fast
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems quickly

Bonus points if you have:

  • Prior experience with Entrata or a comparable property management system
  • Regional Manager or similar multi-site operations background (not required!)
  • Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools to manage workflows

Compensation & Schedule:

$80,000–$95,000 per year, plus performance bonus. Full-time, exempt. Monday–Friday, standard business hours, with travel and occasional overtime during active transitions.

Location & Work Environment:

This role is based out of our corporate office in Provo, UT, with regular travel to properties across the portfolio, typically 1–2 Tier 1 takeovers per month, plus annual travel to the company leadership Summit. On-site transition days are fast-paced and may involve extended hours.

Why You'll Love Working at Redstone:

  • Health, vision, and dental insurance
  • 401(k) with up to 6% company match
  • Flex PTO and 10 paid holidays
  • Gym membership
  • Discounted phone plan
  • 3 paid service days per year
  • Paid parental leave
  • Professional development support
  • Employee assistance program
  • A people-first culture that walks the talk
  • A front-row seat to Redstone's growth, one transition at a time
  • A leader who values your judgment and your time
  • Work that matters: every transition is someone's big moment
  • A team that cares deeply and communicates honestly
  • A workplace where fun and performance go hand-in-hand

At Redstone, you'll have the opportunity to shape how every new client experiences our brand, build real relationships with ownership groups, and do meaningful work during the moments that matter most.
