Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2019, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

Compensation Analyst 

As a Compensation Analyst you will be a part of our growing Total Rewards team focused on partnering with HR team members & business leaders and analytical work that supports our compensation programs. The role is crucial to supporting a wide range of compensation programs across Redwood. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide analytical support for compensation programs & projects 
  • Build models from scratch to enable the compensation team to derive insights that support decision making and drive action. 
  • Integrate data from internal and external data sources into analysis to generate recommendations 
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform compensation decisions and strategy. 
  • Support the administration of annual programs including merit and equity awards. 
  • Assist in the development and administration of base pay structures, salary ranges, and incentive programs. 
  • Assist with market pricing and benchmarking analysis using salary surveys and internal data to support compensation decisions. 
  • Participate in compensation surveys. 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in compensation roles. 
  • Experience with a start-up or high-growth environment is preferred. 
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field. 
  • Stong analytical skills: understanding how to structure data to enable analysis, build models and summarize information. 
  • Expert with excel 
  • Preferred: Workday experience 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.  
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in benefits programs. 
  • A Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!  

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
