YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and highly experienced Technical Lead, Full Stack Java Software Developer with deep expertise in Java to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the technical direction, design, and implementation of complex, scalable, and high-performance full-stack applications that underpin our core automation and SaaS platforms. You will lead by example, providing technical mentorship, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality software solutions from concept through production. 

Technical Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to a team of full-stack developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, helping them grow their technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards and quality gates.

Architectural Design & Strategy:

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex, distributed, and highly scalable full-stack systems and microservices, ensuring alignment with overall product and company strategy.
  • Define technical roadmaps and make critical architectural decisions that impact the entire product suite.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance performance, scalability, security, and developer efficiency.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software design patterns, architectural principles, and cloud-native development.

Hands-on Development:

  • Serve as a principal individual contributor, developing sophisticated back-end services using Java and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
  • Implement robust and intuitive front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, high-performing, and well-tested code.
  • Oversee and actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to deployment, monitoring, and support.

System Performance & Reliability:

  • Design and implement solutions with a strong focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Proactively identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
  • Establish and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for production applications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with product management, UX/UI designers, DevOps, and other engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Influence product strategy and contribute to defining the technical vision for our products.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a Technical Lead or Principal Developer role.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Java  (v.11/17) and extensive experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Cloud). 
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and RESTful API design principles.
  • Expertise in database design and optimization for both relational (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Strong command of modern front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in at least one major framework (ReactJS, Angular, MobX and TypeScript).
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including services like compute, storage, networking, and serverless technologies.
  • Extensive experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives from concept to production.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, with a focus on complex system challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to influence, motivate, and empower developer teams.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Jira, BitBucket, Bamboo from Atlassian).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with message brokers/queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
  • Experience in a heavily regulated industry or with compliance standards.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong public code portfolio (e.g., GitHub).
  • Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning for large-scale applications.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
