YOUR IMPACT
- Serve as a trusted, collaborative partner with key Redwood functions including Finance, FP&A, Revenue Operations and the Redwood leadership team
- Manage monthly close process working with various teams – GL, AR, AP, Cash, Payroll, Banking, Inter-Company and Allocations ensuring all G/L reconciliations are complete and variances actively managed
- Manage corporate reporting requirements to meet lender and PE firm requirements
- Participate in year end consolidated and statutory audits along with required statutory filings in a variety of jurisdictions with a specific focus on local GAAP for the Netherlands
- Partner on maintaining best-of-breed systems (ERP), and underlying policies to provide critical financial information to the Senior Leadership Team and Executive Leadership team to assist in critical decision making
- Drive transformational changes to gain efficiencies through automation and AI
- Participate in M&A activities including purchase price accounting, change management and financial system integrations.
- Responsible for ASC 606 compliant Deferred Revenue monthly reporting collaborating with FP&A with a walk from GAAP to First Year Values (FYV) and monthly tie out of all Payroll costs.
- Oversee inter-company balances and manage the transfer pricing calculation and remittance process.
- Understand Redwood strategy to drive profitable growth through strong financial management practices and KPI metrics.
- Build, mentor & lead by example a talented, customer-obsessed team focused on driving business goals
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 15+ years of financial leadership experience ideally in a complex, international, fast paced, high growth software or technology company
- University degree (and/or an MBA) in finance or business with an accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA)
- 3-5 years of both Workday Financial G/L System experience and Salesforce experience.
- Experience with companies over $200M revenue and growing
- Strong US GAAP, SaaS metrics, inter-company charges, transfer pricing
- Strong understanding of recurring revenue and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition for Contracts
- M&A integration experience
- Overall experience with both direct and indirect tax is a plus
- Experience with the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, India and Canada is a plus
- Self-starter who can drive results and prepare for taking on a prominent role in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented company.

- Strong communication skills, sets the tone for an ethical, open, transparent and respectful environment.

- Ability to translate functional business needs into technical requirements and business process design; facilitate meetings and decision making by business owners; proficiently utilize Workday Financial General Ledger, Salesforce, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Slack.
