At Reema Health, we believe that a personalized, community-based approach to care makes it easier for anyone to access the things they need to make their lives better. We know that life’s challenges often exist because the systems built to help are a burden to navigate. We believe building a relationship with a real person — someone who listens, meets members where they are, and understands the community’s resources — can ease those burdens and effectively connect members to health care. Our mission-driven and member-focused company is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Health Plan Sales Executive.

As a key player in our growth strategy, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with health plans across the United States, with a strong focus on the Medicaid market. The Health Plan Sales Executive is a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills who can effectively represent Reema and deliver outstanding results.

How you’ll contribute to the work

  • Identify, research, and prospect new health plan opportunities across the US and within prioritized geographies.
  • Develop and manage the sales pipeline, from lead gen to deal negotiation and near-close.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage sales activities, track customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
  • Build relationships with C-Suite and VP-level executives and key decision-makers at health plans, with a focus on Medicaid.
  • Present Reema’s value proposition effectively to address client needs and align with the prospect’s strategic goals.
  • Lead complex negotiations and manage deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Navigate and lead the contracting process as an in-network provider, ensuring compliance with health plan requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on sales progress, pipeline health, and market insights to Reema leadership.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.
  • Embrace a scrappy, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving and resourcefulness.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with a focus on collaboration and adaptability.

What you’ll bring to the the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Years of related experience can be substituted for years of completed education towards a bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of health plan sales experience, with Medicaid experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a startup environment or consulting for startups.
  • Experience navigating and managing contracting as an in-network provider with health plans.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting sales targets and achieving revenue goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage C-suite executives and build lasting relationships.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to lead generation and sales.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Scrappy and resourceful, able to creatively overcome challenges and navigate ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry, social determinants of health, and managed care organizations.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) to track leads, opportunities, and sales.
  • Understand and adhere to all relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, state privacy laws) and ensure the confidentiality and security of all customer and company data.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, networking events, and other business-related activities.

What’s in it for you

  • Competitive Salary, Commission Plan, and Equity Package
