Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to elevate Ref's brand presence across various social media platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building meaningful relationships with our online community of HR professionals, job seekers, and industry thought leaders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Ref's brand voice and marketing objectives
- Manage and grow Ref's presence on key social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and emerging platforms relevant to our audience
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that showcases Ref's AI-powered solutions, thought leadership, and company culture
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and support of key initiatives
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and report on social media metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize our social media strategy
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and new features, implementing them into our strategy as appropriate
- Coordinate with the content team to repurpose blog posts, whitepapers, and other marketing materials for social media use
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, working closely with the digital marketing team to optimize performance
- Represent Ref at industry events and conferences, creating live social media content and engaging with attendees
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in B2B SaaS or HR tech
- Proven track record of growing social media followings and increasing engagement rates
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for creating visually appealing social media content
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing principles
- Knowledge of HR, recruitment, and talent management trends and technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
