Training Program Manager

We’re looking for a Training Program Manager to join our Global Support team at Elastic. This brand-new role will play a key part in shaping how we train, enable, and develop our support engineers worldwide. You’ll identify knowledge gaps by analyzing case volumes and customer escalation data for trends, and design impactful training programs to strengthen product expertise across the team.
Partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs), you’ll build engaging content, using appropriate tools available with Elastic, while organizing, scheduling and coordinating enablement sessions delivered by SMEs. You’ll also manage our enablement content within Seismic, ensuring that our support organization has access to the right learning resources when they need them.
This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth of our education program, improve customer experience, and enable the success of our global support engineering organization.
What You’ll Do
- Identify training gaps across the global Support Engineering team through analysis of case volume, escalation data, customer feedback, and internal assessments.
- Work closely with the 3 regional leaders of Support in Americas, EMEA & APJ to identify region specific training and skill development requirements
- Collaborate with SMEs to design, develop, and deliver new learning experiences (workshops, videos, eLearning, and instructor-led training).
- Partner with content developers, where available and/or use LEAi tool to create scalable, high-quality training modules.
- Ensure Elastic courseware is kept current with the fast-evolving Elastic Stack, integrating updates and feedback from the field.
- Create and maintain scripts, labs, and other technical artifacts to support learning activities.
- Improve and maintain existing training content—including on-demand courses, video content, and live training—resolving issues and enhancing learner experience.
- Leverage Seismic (our enablement platform) to manage, deliver, and track training programs.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in the Elastic Stack, fostering a culture of continual improvement and knowledge sharing.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience building technical curriculum in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- BS degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with Seismic or similar enablement platforms or with content development tools.
- Proven technical foundation with past experiences in creating training programs for technology companies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps, design solutions, and measure effectiveness.
- A fast learner with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed, and highly collaborative environment.
- A passion for continuous learning and a desire to deepen your expertise in the Elastic Stack.
