What is The Role
Elastic is growing fast and we're looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, and hardworking Associate Recruiter to join our global talent team. You will act as a Talent Advisor to our AMER Field Operations Team, where you will be responsible for sourcing, leading and driving the entire recruitment process for a variety of roles and levels. Please note this role can be located anywhere in the USA as long as you're comfortable working from home or a non-affiliated co-working space. We have offices in several cities, but this is not an office based role as our teams are fully distributed, too. If you happen to be near an office and you want to use it, phenomenal, you are always welcome, and we will have a desk ready for you!
What You Will Be Doing
- Engage talent — Identify the right people, get them engaged, and lead the full hiring process
- Build tight relationships with your hiring teams and serve as an advisor and partner to build balanced pipelines of stellar candidates and fill current openings. Roles you will have the opportunity to work on will vary throughout the Field Operations organization, including Account Executives, Solution Architects and more within both the Commercial and Public Sector space.
- Craft and improve a consistent and outstanding candidate experience
- Run and champion our hiring process to provide a consistent experience with the Elastic recruiting team
- Participate with the global recruiting team to develop, implement, and execute recruiting strategies
- Be a passionate Elastic brand ambassador before, during, and after recruitment. You will help us build our talent brand in addition to our talent pipeline
What You Bring
- 2+ years of recruiting experience across positions and teams
- A passion for understanding at least the basics of what hiring teams are working on.
- Demonstrable experience recruiting for a fast-paced company. Maybe it's a software company, start-up, and/or, better yet, even a company where talent isn't knocking down your door
- Experience in direct sourcing of hard to find skillsets
- High attention-to-detail and ability to prioritize multiple reqs
- Sharp eye for business with the ability to listen, ask relevant questions, and think three steps ahead
- Ability to successfully articulate the Elastic value proposition and story to candidates
- Ability to establish relationships by phone, email, and social media channels
- Experience collaborating with and influencing hiring managers and executives throughout the recruiting cycle
- Solid understanding of ATS tools (Greenhouse a bonus!) and recruiting technologies
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
The typical starting salary range for this role is:
$74,200 - $117,400 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$89,000 - $140,800 USD
