WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to join our team as the Strategic Business Development and Operations Program Manager. This cross-functional role sits at the nexus of corporate strategy, partnerships, and program execution, and will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth through strategic planning, operational excellence, and external collaborations. The ideal candidate will collaborate regularly with executive leadership, our business development team, and scientific and technical leaders to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

 

KEY ACTIVITIES

Business Development

  • Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of drug rescue opportunities and strategic partnerships with academic, clinical, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support negotiations, including term sheet development, due diligence coordination, and strategic fit assessments.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to guide strategic decisions and inform opportunity prioritization.

Strategic Planning & Communication

  • Support long-range planning and corporate strategy efforts aligned with the company’s mission and data-driven R&D objectives.
  • Support scenario modeling, ROI analyses, and strategy presentations for executive and board-level audiences.
  • Partner with technical, scientific, and clinical, teams to align strategic initiatives with internal capabilities and company goals.

Program Management & Operations

  • Partner with scientific project management teams to plan and oversee cross-functional program execution for strategic initiatives, ensuring milestones, budgets, and resources are aligned.
  • Design and implement KPIs and dashboards to monitor progress, risk, and value creation across programs.
  • Establish scalable business processes that support operational efficiency, compliance, and agility.

 

MUST HAVES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or MPH) preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences consulting, with demonstrated success in business development, strategic planning, or program management.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities; experience with program management tools.

 

NICE TO HAVES

  • Prior experience in a data-centric or AI-enabled healthcare company.
  • Familiarity with licensing, M&A, or partner management.
  • Experience developing strategic content and coordinating projects within highly technical and science-focused environments.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The target salary range is $160,000 to $190,000 annually.
  • Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
