Warehouse Lead 2nd Shift

Position Name: Warehouse Lead
Warehouse Leads are department subject matter experts. They possess excellent communication skills and can tackle multiple tasks at once. As a department leader, you will ensure all SOPs and safety procedures are followed throughout the operation.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor a team 5 of 10 associates ensuring the highest level of quality and production
- Fill out department Gemba boards and hold start-of-shift meetings
- Execute area readiness checklists ensuring your department is prepared for their shift
- Assist the floor as an associate resource. Provide on-the-job training for new hires.
- Monitor and enforce SOP compliance by performing department audits
- Monitor associates’ behavior and escalate all issues to your department supervisor
- Uphold all OSHA regulations and safety programs to ensure a safe work environment
- Work within all departments as required
- Understand and be able to learn industry-specific technology
What You’ll Need:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1+ years of experience as warehouse lead or a similar role is required
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Computers
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and bend, lift, and move product up to 30 lbs
- Flexible, punctual, and reliable. Willing to work extended hours when necessary
- Great organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
