Senior Buyer
Who We Are:
Being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We're #2.
Since 2009, we've been on a mission to bring sustainable fashion to everyone. Named one of Fast Company’s Brands That Matter and winning a Best Carbon Footprint award, we have big goals like being Climate Positive by 2025, Circular by 2030, and pushing the whole industry forward along the way. Our work has gotten love in Drapers and Sourcing Journal, and TIME wrote about how great our CEO, Hali Borenstein, is. Basically, we're saving the Earth and looking damn good doing it.
We're a global brand with 50+ stores (and counting) around the world, and our own sustainable factory in LA. We innovate across categories like accessories, swimwear, and sleepwear, and we reach millions of people with campaigns like this, this and this.
None of this work is possible without the incredible people behind it. We're a mission-based company that invests in an inclusive culture, so we can innovate together and ensure everyone has the space to grow, thrive, and belong.
And starting right now, we want to do all that with you.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Culver City & Vernon, Los Angeles, requiring an in-office presence of three days per week, with two days remote.
The Role:
We are seeking a Buying Manager to drive the strategic development and comprehensive execution of our product assortment across both our Retail and Wholesale channels. - Develop cohesive assortments for both Retail and Wholesale channels that are mutually complementary and in alignment with the global product strategy, ensuring maximum brand synergy and consistent presentation
- Collaborate closely with the Global Merchandising Team, both supporting wider company strategies (key items, marketing) and actively advocating for channel specific needs and providing essential market feedback
- Partner with planning on OTB management, developing sales, margin, & inventory productivity targets, both pre-season and in-season
- Deliver the appropriate depth and breadth by store, analyzing historical sales and store capacity
- Stay close to market needs, competitive landscape and tailor product assortments to each store / market / wholesale account
- Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and needs through store visits, rigorous consumer insights, and competitor analysis
- Analyze weekly sales data and proactively execute ad-hoc quantitative analyses to drive deep, expert-level understanding of all assigned categories
You’ll Love This Job If You’re:
- You are a go- getter; you are competitive and have a natural drive to get things done
- You are super smart with strong problem solving skills
- You love product and completely get the Reformation customer
- You are scrappy and can do a lot without extensive resources

- You can set targets and manage a cross-functional effort to achieve those targets
- You motivate others; you communicate clearly; you inspire your coworkers.
- You are a collaborative, hardworking, problem solver, who leads by example.
- You are way above average, and only want to work at a place that is nowhere near average.
