Vice President, Growth Marketing
Who We Are:
Being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We're #2.
Since 2009, we've been on a mission to bring sustainable fashion to everyone. Named one of Fast Company’s Brands That Matter and winning a Best Carbon Footprint award, we have big goals like being Climate Positive by 2025, Circular by 2030, and pushing the whole industry forward along the way. Our work has gotten love in Drapers and Sourcing Journal, and TIME wrote about how great our CEO, Hali Borenstein, is. Basically, we're saving the Earth and looking damn good doing it.
We're a global brand with 50+ stores (and counting) around the world, and our own sustainable factory in LA. We innovate across categories like accessories, swimwear, and sleepwear, and we reach millions of people with campaigns like this, this and this.
None of this work is possible without the incredible people behind it. We're a mission-based company that invests in an inclusive culture, so we can innovate together and ensure everyone has the space to grow, thrive, and belong.
And starting right now, we want to do all that with you.

Vice President, Growth Marketing
Reformation is looking for a Vice President, Growth Marketing to lead our global paid marketing function and scale the Ref brand in our next stage of growth. This is a senior role requiring a dynamic leader who can operate at the highest strategic level while remaining deeply connected to performance, people, and execution. The right person has managed large paid media budgets, understands scale and brings a global perspective to every decision they make. This role is heavily focused on people leadership: building, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team while cultivating strong relationships with agency partners, platform vendors, and cross-functional leaders across Reformation.
This leader will oversee a complex, multi-channel marketing ecosystem spanning a large number of SKUs, and must have the experience and confidence to manage creative strategy, product marketing, and performance channels simultaneously. They will be the primary steward of Ref’s media investment, responsible for driving measurable revenue growth while maintaining the brand integrity that sets us apart as a digitally native, sustainability-first company.
What You’ll Do:
People Leadership & Partner Management (50% of role)
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing growth team, including a high performing team across media buying, investment & pacing, measurement, and creative strategy; creating clarity in priorities and space for team members to grow and advance.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for agency partners, platform vendors (Meta, Google, TikTok, and others), and cross-functional leaders across Brand, Creative, Merchandising, and Digital, building the trust and visibility that drives alignment and results.
- Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization, breaking down silos and enabling faster, smarter decision-making at every level.
- Represent the Growth function in senior leadership conversations, serving as a key voice in financial forecasting, budget planning, and strategic investment discussions.
Global Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Own and scale a sophisticated global paid media strategy across all performance channels, including SEM, paid social, display, video, affiliate, and emerging formats.
- Maintain a sharp focus on CPA, incrementality, and profitability at scale.
- Explore and navigate the AI-driven media landscape, staying at the forefront of automated bidding, generative creative optimization, and the shift toward agentic search environments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain a sharp focus on CPA, incrementality, and profitability at scale, leveraging predictive modeling to forecast outcomes across diverse global markets.
- Bring deep experience with international market expansion and complexity, navigating the nuances of global media buying across multiple regions, currencies, and regulatory environments.
- Oversee daily investment pacing and budget deployment across a large and growing media spend, ensuring efficiency, agility, and alignment to business objectives, including weekends and high-volume periods.
- Lead the continued maturation of Ref’s channel strategy, identifying opportunities to scale proven channels and rigorously testing and exploring emerging AI-led platforms and ad formats with discipline and a focus on sustainability.
Creative Strategy & Brand Integration
- Champion a creative strategy that is cohesive across all channels, ensuring that paid media does not exist in isolation but reinforces Ref’s unique brand and voice.
- Partner closely with Creative, Brand, and Merchandising teams to brief, develop, and iterate on content that performs and feels distinctly Ref across a large number of SKUs and frequent new-collection launches.
- Push creative thinking forward while respecting Ref’s unique approach to production, acting as a creative partner and strategic ideator rather than a prescriptive director.
Measurement & Optimization
- Lead a nuanced, multi-solution measurement strategy that treats attribution as both an art and a science, using data to make faster, better decisions without over-engineering for the sake of complexity.
- Build and maintain reporting structures that give the team, partners, and leadership clear visibility into performance, incrementality, and the financial impact of media investment.
- Stay at the forefront of industry shifts in measurement, privacy, and attribution; proactively identifying risks and opportunities as the landscape evolves (e.g., cookieless tracking, AI-driven signal loss, and synthetic data modeling).
- Champion a culture of experimentation, leveraging industry trends to accelerate A/B testing cycles and develop deeper insights into long-term customer LTV and incrementality.
What You’ll Need:
- 12+ years of growth marketing experience, with significant time spent in senior leadership roles at high-growth consumer or e-commerce companies
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale paid media budgets, with a track record of efficient scaling across multiple channels
- Proven global experience: you have planned, bought, and optimized media across international markets and understand the complexity that comes with it
- Deep fluency in performance marketing channels (paid social, SEM, display, video, affiliate) and the ability to provide strategic guidance to channel experts on your team
- Experience managing creative, product, and performance marketing simultaneously in a high-SKU environment with frequent new-product launches
- Strong people leader with a track record of building, retaining, and developing talented teams; you create clarity, trust, and growth opportunities for those around you
- Demonstrated success building and managing relationships with external partners, agencies, platforms, and vendors.
- Analytically rigorous with strong financial acumen; you are comfortable owning forecasting conversations and translating data into executive-level insight
- Collaborative, cross-functional operator who builds bridges rather than boundaries and is energized by the complexity of a multi-stakeholder organization
- A genuine passion for Reformation’s brand, mission, and commitment to sustainability
Who You Are:
- You are a seasoned executive who has done this at scale and you can prove it.
- You lead with clarity, trust your team, and know when to get in the weeds and when to elevate.
- You have a global mindset and instinctively think across geographies, channels, and audiences.
- You are as comfortable in a financial forecast meeting as you are in a creative brief session.
- You thrive in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments and bring calm, focused leadership when the stakes are high.
- You are a builder of relationships—with partners, vendors, and the teams around you—and you understand that trust is the foundation of everything.
- You are motivated, strategic, and results-driven, with a genuine desire to see the tangible impact of your work.
