About the Role:

As a Personal Banker, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and financial guidance to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the financial needs of customers and offer tailored banking solutions that align with their goals. You will be instrumental in building long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the bank. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting various banking products and services, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the branch. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial products and services, including loans and investment options.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using banking software and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to assess their financial needs and provide personalized banking solutions.
  • Promote and sell banking products and services, including loans, credit cards, and investment options.
  • Assist customers with account inquiries, transactions, and problem resolution in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions to ensure compliance and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Skills:

The required skills for this role include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for building rapport with clients and understanding their financial needs. Sales skills will be utilized daily as you promote various banking products and services, ensuring that customers are aware of the options available to them. Problem-solving skills will come into play when addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. Additionally, attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
