RegScale is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead and scale a high-performing Solutions Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in driving pre-sales success, customer value realization, and technical strategy across our go-to-market efforts.

In this leadership role, you’ll lead technical engagement across the enterprise sales cycle—from discovery and solution architecture to proof of concept and customer onboarding. You will also help shape our product direction by translating market feedback into strategic requirements and work closely with the Product team to build what customers want. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-impact team of Solutions Engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional development.
    • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Success leadership to define the technical sales strategy and execution to optimize customer outcomes.
    • Develop scalable programs and assets (demos, proof-of-concept frameworks, integrations, etc.) that support repeatable sales motions and accelerate deal velocity.
    • Own technical aspects of major strategic deals and provide executive-level support during complex sales cycles.
    • Play a major role in enabling cross functional teams on the product capabilities.
  • Customer-Facing Execution

    • Serve as a senior technical advisor to enterprise prospects, communicating the value of RegScale’s platform with clarity and credibility.
    • Guide customers through solution architecture, technical design, data ingestion, and integration planning.
    • Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and customer inquiries.
    • Represent RegScale at industry events, webinars, and customer forums as a thought leader in compliance automation.
  • Operational Excellence

    • Establish key performance metrics to track team effectiveness, win rates, and time-to-value.
    • Standardize demo environments, use cases, and onboarding assets to improve repeatability and scale.
    • Capture competitive intelligence and ecosystem insights to guide product direction and enablement content.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing Sales Engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Cybersecurity expertise in deploying, operating, or selling cybersecurity products
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience delivering technical sales presentations, POCs, and integration demos for B2B enterprise customers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, FedRamp, RMF, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, CMMC, etc.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.), data integration, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Software/SaaS, including 5+ years in Sales Engineering and 3+ years in leadership roles.
