About the Role:

As an Application Administrator II, you'll help shape how teams across Relativity Space collaborate, manage work, and improve business processes through enterprise productivity platforms. This role is both consultative and technical: you'll partner with stakeholders to understand workflows and requirements, design solutions collaboratively, and then implement those solutions through platform configuration. While Jira and Confluence are the primary tools today, the role extends beyond platform administration into process analysis, solution design, governance, and user enablement. Success in this role requires balancing customer needs with governance standards, security requirements, and overall system health.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, workflows, and operational challenges
  • Translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions and recommend appropriate tools, processes, or integrations
  • Help evaluate whether requests should be addressed through existing capabilities, platform enhancements, or alternative solutions
  • Configure and maintain Jira projects, Confluence spaces, workflows, automations, forms, dashboards, and related platform capabilities
  • Apply established configuration standards and governance practices to promote consistency and maintainability across the platform
  • Contribute to ongoing platform improvement and simplification initiatives
  • Support access management, permission reviews, and platform governance activities
  • Participate in configuration reviews, change management processes, and platform health initiatives
  • Help maintain alignment with security, audit, and compliance requirements
  • Guide users through platform capabilities and best practices
  • Deliver training, documentation, and consultative support to help teams become more self-sufficient
  • Help stakeholders understand tradeoffs between customization and long-term scalability
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, integrations, and user-reported problems
  • Support application upgrades, plugin lifecycle management, and operational maintenance activities
  • Monitor platform performance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

About You:

  • Platform administration experience: working knowledge of enterprise collaboration or workflow platforms such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similarly highly configurable business applications
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills: A methodical approach to diagnosing problems, resolving incidents, and improving platform reliability—especially in integrated environments
  • Business process and systems thinking: ability to understand business workflow and identify pain points in order to recommend practical solutions
  • Clear communicator and collaborator: Ability to effectively facilitate discussions, gather requirements, explain solutions, and provide training to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across a variety of business teams
  • Security-minded and detail-oriented: Familiar with access governance and platform hygiene practices that align with security and compliance expectations
  • Integration-focused perspective: Understanding of how to connect Atlassian, SharePoint, and other systems to create smooth workflows and minimize silos

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Relevant Certifications: Credentials like Atlassian Certified Professional or or similar that reflect advanced platform expertise
  • Project and service management familiarity: Familiarity with Agile, ITSM, project portfolio management, service catalogs, or operational workflows
  • Automation and integration experience: Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Java) to support automation, integrations, and operational efficiency
  • User Experience Awareness: A thoughtful approach to usability and design when configuring projects, spaces, or workflows Cloud and infrastructure exposure: Familiarity with cloudhosted enterprise applications and supporting technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, or similar environments
  • Migration Project Experience: Exposure to application upgrades, platform migrations, or cloud adoption initiatives, including testing, validation, or end-user readiness activities
  • Industry Context: Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or other complex, technical industries where traceability, compliance, and collaboration are critical

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
