Senior Accountant
Reliant Health Partners is an innovative medical claims repricing service provider, helping employers achieve maximum health plan savings with minimum noise. The Senior Accountant will support the Reliant / Cost Containment business unit and report directly to the VP of Finance – Cost Containment. This role is responsible for the majority of accounting and finance functions required to produce accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly close, invoicing, and audit preparation.
Primary Responsibilities

Lead the monthly close process, including:

Calculating and posting monthly revenue and commissions

Coordinating with the central finance team to ensure proper recording of COGS and operating expenses

Performing flux/trend analysis against prior periods

Record cash activity on a daily or semi-daily basis

Prepare and issue monthly invoices

Apply cash receipts and monitor accounts receivable

Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations

Provide support for the annual audit

Assist with FP&A activities and broader corporate finance initiatives

Partner with the VP of Finance on other projects as assigned
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred

3–5 years of public accounting experience or private company accounting experience with full financial statement responsibilities

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting standards, and financial reporting

Proven technical accounting skills, including the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting guidance

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage Intacct or similar financial systems preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain financial information

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
Pay Transparency
$80,000 - $90,000 USD
